Twisted Edit

This is my local yarn shop, and it has a surprisingly fantastic tea selection. Their current offerings are written up on a large chalkboard behind the counter, and they usually have 2-3 dozen at any given time, mostly Tao of Tea selections.

You get your choice of a for-here mug or to-go cup, and some teas are teabag or loose-leaf (the loose-leaf gets put in a disposable teabag, but you know the difference). You fill your cup yourself from their hot water dispenser, which seems significantly hotter than most — hot enough for black teas, I would say. Twisted is very, very green, so don’t expect Splenda or the like at the dressing station.

If you knit or crochet, you’re welcome to do your craft in the shop anytime, but keep an eye out for specific “crafting group” times — they will give you a free iced or hot tea for being in the shop and crafting during those periods. (If you’re an introvert, you don’t even have to sit with the “group,” I have discovered.)
