Went here twice on my last visit to Portland. Got the #67 (Vanilla Rooibos) for the first visit because it was night time and I wanted something to warm me up. One of the better rooibos I’ve had!

Second trip was to get bubble tea— got some thai bubble tea and it’s better than the one I get in my area. Friend got a raspberry bubble tea which was refreshing without being cloying and sweet. Another friend bought some of their teas to try when we got back (2 ounces of some of their tonics) and she said they all taste pretty good.

Maybe I’ve just been visiting at good times (Friday night / Saturday morning) because it wasn’t packed when we got there.

Overall, a good experience and I’ll probably go there on my next visit. 4 stars though because I have no point of comparison between this and other teahouses in Portland.

I would say this is a smaller location. It’s cozy and has some comfortable seating. I do love their teas.

Good lively atmosphere and good teas (No. 13!). However, the place is frequently packed and the last time I went I asked for a recommendation and it was not good at all.

This teahouse has a very alternative/Portlandy cafe/hangout feel.
There is a mismash of seating-from the traditional table for two to couches, with additional seating downstairs and a patio/garden out back. The place was pretty busy when I stopped by.

Their tea menu seemed very diverse, even including bubble tea and some sort of remedy section. It was available by the cup or pot and they also made it to-go.

Artwork was displayed on the upstairs walls and there were two small sections of tea and coffee paraphernalia for sale.

This is by far my favorite teahouse in Portland – unfortunately, I’m not alone as this place can get packed! They have a full list of Townshend’s teas and make a fantastic tea latte. It’s a nice place to sit and read or get some work done, not great for groups larger than 2 though. Once you’ve finished here, there’s a winery behind the teahouse and restaurants in both directions!
