sweet! spicy! toasty!
not what i was expecting for a marshmallow tea, but something different altogether, and i really do like it.
the cinnamon and allspice really bring in that campfire element, though that wouldn’t come to mind if i was asked to describe a toasted marshmallow. more chai flavoured to me.
i just realized that there’s no chocolate in this, and i think that’s what i was expecting; for it to be more of a s’mores tea. maybe i’ll play around with blending it with one of davids chocolate teas and see how that goes.
sorry to ramble! it’s a good one!!

Hmmm…..how about chocolate cake? That might work! I will have to try that!

oooh that would be excellent!

this one smells amaaazing!
a bit of a red stain on my white cup from the sprinkles, but i don’t mind.
it does taste rich and cakey, with that white chocolate kiss coming through!
definitely a dark chocolate lingering. i’ll have to try this baby as a latte.
i’ll grab some more if i happen to be near a davids, but i won’t be ordering a ton online.

not really getting much of anything from this one.
it smells pretty earthy, i’m guessing that’s the guayusa, but taste-wise nothing really comes through except a tiny bit of the fennel.
looks pretty as a dry tea! can’t really say much else though.

mmm! i am pleasantly surprised! i have to admit, i wasn’t expecting much (not really liking mates and not really believing fresh orange juice flavour would translate well into tea), but it is good!
it’s late, so i can’t drink the whole cup (only brewed for tasting purposes!), because i’m afraid it would keep me up until 4am, but it’s hard to resist!
i’ll definitely pick up some more next time i’m at a davids, but i’ve got other morning teas to keep me going until then ;)

mmmm, chocolate on chocolate on chocolate on cinnamon…
this has the means to be a favourite. my tea to water ratio was a bit off, so things were a tad watery, but the cinnamon and chocolate did come through.
i’m dying to try this as a stove top latte (similar recipe with the pumpkin chai – steep the tea in (almond) milk on the stove and add brown sugar). i think it will be an incredible start to my early morning classes when it starts to get a bit chillier out!
horrah for chocolate! and davids! :D

i compared this one side by side with last years blend (they added and subtracted some ingredients) and honestly, i couldn’t tell difference.
what joys! i was happily relieved.
another one of davids all-time stars, i think.
might just treat myself to the fancy tin this year ;)

yeh they added artifical flavouring :(

I made the cupcake recipe… it was a hit with all of my friends and family. It was an easy to follow recipe and didn’t take all that much time to make. Definitely making these again.

mmmmnh. the flavouring tastes fake. not really much else to say about it than that, unfortunately! :( too bad, i was looking for another fruity oolong.
thats ok though! six more newbies to try tomorrow morning! so watch out!!

(i’m scared. this one is such a dark pink, i think the hibiscus will kill it)

it does smell absolutely amazing, exactly like a strawberry rhubarb pie. delicious.
:( negative. very tart. like biting into a fresh stalk of rhubarb! the strawberry is there, but it’s like an unripened, sour one. too bad. it isn’t crazy overpowering like some of davids teas with hibiscus, but it’s still too much for me.
there is still strawberry rhubarb crumble available as an online exclusive. i’m going to stock up on that one (with it’s warm cinnamon and orange peel), even though it is almost twice the cost per 50g, it’s definitely worth it.

this one steeps up a very pretty light pink cup! a good indicator that the hibiscus shouldn’t be overpowering… and yes! a winner!
there is so much goodness crammed in here though, haha, the hibiscus takes a nice tart back seat with the sour cherries.
it reminds me of goji pop in how it smells like some sort of juicy, fruity, chewy candy! yummm

I love this one since I first tried it. I am hooked and just had to get myself a tin. I really love this warm and soothing fall embrace all embodied in a cup of tea.

blech. nopes. too floral.
i was hoping the apple would overpower those rose petals but unfortunately, they do not.
this one is a pass :(

i couldn’t choose a favourite kind of tea, though i enjoy greens and black teas the most. sweet fruit, citrus, or spicy warm flavours score high with me. i’m a believer in medicinal teas and am always looking to learn more and try new teas
