If you want Godiva Chocolates, Mariage Freres Tea and other major French tea houses as well as their own brand of expertly roasted coffees in one convenient location, this is your shop. Very good prices and you can find lots of treasures there.
Nice selection. It is a franchise chain, another store nearby can be found in the E. Leclerc Shopping centre in Creutzwald as well as many other major French cities.
Coffee, teas, chocolate. Beautiful gift baskets but these are a bit pricey. Tea prices are ok though.
One of my favourites in Paris since the flavoured teas from this place are great.
Not far from Mariage Freres but with a more modern touch. Very interesting flavoured teas and blends- I had one with seaweed!
It is an experience you should not miss if you happen to be in Paris. Love this place so much. Do some research via the website first so you know what you are looking for. :) And do not miss the tea room there. Seriously. It is wonderful. All the dishes have tea as an ingredient and I’ve had wonderful treats there.
Franchise store like all Tee Gschwendner places. Good selection, they do have one unique city blend only available in that particular store.
I visited this shop two weeks ago and it is AMAZING! With over 800 teas to choose from it probably offers the biggest selection I have ever seen. It is a small shop that also offers tea tastings, classes and you can taste a tea of the day and buy iced matcha to go.
Good selection of teaware and accessories/gifts but what I cannot praise enough is the way they display the tea. Every tea has a small sample you can sniff displayed in a little tin. You find “order forms” and pens in the shelves and you can sniff and work your way through the samples and write down your choices. Excellent system that allows you to take your time and choose in your own time rather than hurrying up because the shop assistant is waiting. :) They do assist you of course and they are really knowledgeable and suggested some teas to me. There are Munich themed teas and many special blends. I was quite impressed by their range of pharaonic tisanes- blends of fruit and spices with no extra flavouring added- they are excellent. Their matcha white chocolate powder for hot chocolate is also amazing.
And they sell in 50g bags- so you can choose a lot of different ones and it will not break your bank. :) Highly recommended. GO THERE!!!!!!!!!
This place exists since 1981 and it is THE address for good tea in my area. It is not part of a franchise chain like TeeGschwendner and the owner is a wonderful woman. The store is tiny but very very welcoming. Around 300 different teas, good selection of estates plus flavoured teas. They also carry a good assortment of tea vessels and accessories, like flavoured rock sugar, biscuits and decorations. The shop also serves tea- you can try any of their teas or choose a tea of the day and despite its small size it is a meeting place for tea lovery who cram into the store’s small seating area. I love their iced tea.
There is also an online shop addded- it is a highly recommended place. They know what they are talking about!
They sell loose tea, coffee and fine chocolate- good place if you need a tea themed gift for someone and a good selection. They also have a few tables in the store and more seating outside. Interesting selection of iced teas in summer.
A lovely store with a great selection of teas. I highly recommend it.
