Not sure this is actually available from their website anymore, I think I picked it up from a sampler set at a booth at a con and it might have been one of the limited time only blends.

Normally I’m not a big fan of rose, and I smell the rose a lot, but it works with the rest. The oolong gives it a slightly earthy flavor, though I’m not tasting much of the nut oils.

I really like Jasmine teas, and this one is pretty good. To be honest I’m still trying to figure out if I can taste much difference between one pearl jasmine and another, though I do know I like this one better than Teavana’s. Teavana just tends to have weaker teas, though, in my experience.

My favorite teas are Taiwanese oolong that my mom gets occasionally when she visits our family there. But I can never remember what the Mandarin names are. So when I found silk oolong in Ku Cha and it smelled right, I got it.

Previously when I had it, I hadn’t had the vacuum-sealed version in a while and it was a really good holdover. And I still do like it, but after having had the proper import for a couple weeks, it seems a little weak in comparison.

If you don’t know if you’d like the green oolong teas, especially, it’s still a good, cheaper way to try it out before you commit to ordering a larger bag.

Pretty bland organic green tea. Nothing special, but it’s nice to have around for the nights I want to have something caffeine free that’s actually tea-flavored and properly bitter. Especially since it’s loose leaf so I can make it a bit stronger than the usual decaf tea packets that tend to be a little weak. Probably would be nice to mix in with herbal teas too for a nighttime blend, though I haven’t tried that yet.

One of my go-tos for nighttime decaf right now. Not much jasmine flavor, but I like it a little more than the regular Sleepytime for the added lemon. It’s less sweet than a lot of my other decaf teas.

Mostly I like this steeper, I keep it at work to brew loose leaf there.

I find I have issues with getting it to drain fully with certain teas, though, like my silk oolong. The leaves just expand so much, they tend to cover the little nub of the filter that has holes in the top to release the suction, so some liquid remains until I use something (typically my finger) to nudge them aside and allow the rest of the liquid to drain.

After that, too, even if I let it sit on top of the cup for a while, when I remove it, it tends to drip on the table. I’ve solved this by leaving it on top of an extra mousepad I have, but it’s a little annoying.

You also have to be careful to set it down on an entirely clear space. Once or twice I’ve accidentally gotten the edge over the keyboard or a low cable and didn’t notice for a minute that it was actually forcing the steeper to drain.

Overall though, it’s pretty convenient, and I like that it’ll fit over any mug or tumbler I have.

Spicy smell, but taste mostly the tart-sour raspberry. Not bad, but not my favorite.

ETA: Halfway through the cup I started noticing more of the hibiscus, which gave it a bit more nuance. A bit perfumey, but pleasant. Still don’t find it as ‘spicy’ as it’s described, though, it’s mostly a sweeter tea with a faintly spicy smell. Unless it grows on me tremendously after having the rest of the sampler, I am probably not going to buy this tea again.

Definitely a strong black tea. I find if I make it half-strength it’s still pretty flavorful and can make at least two cups, but since I tend to be lazy and just leave the teabag in, I just get one extra strong cup of black tea. Great for chilly mornings when I want a comforting sort of pick-me-up.

Light blend, perfect for evening since it is caffeine-free. The cinnamon is strong but not overwhelming and blends nicely with the other flavors, making it a good autumn tea, too. Smells warm and inviting.
