drank Zen Full Leaf Tea by Tazo

I don’t know how else to describe this tea other than EXHILARATING. I allow the tea leaves to steep for quite a long time (about 5-7 minutes) because I love the strength of it. The aroma of the brew is chiefly composed of spearmint, and to me it is relaxing. I love to breathe in the vapors of my tea while it is yet too hot to drink. The first sip is a harmonious blend of spearmint and a slight note of lemongrass. As the tea gradually cools down to optimal drinking temperature, the lemongrass is more noticeable. The green tea flavors are strong throughout. Overall this is a very stimulating tea… it is mentally energizing and physically relaxing at the same time. I enjoy my Zen tea with a slight drizzle of honey.

I’ve been meaning to try the loose-leaf version of this one. I’ve had it made for me at Starbucks and I’ve had the bagged form, but I bet this is better.

It is much better loose leaf, just like most teas. I first had this it at Starbucks too and fell in love with it!
