This tea tastes really balanced to me. Definitely citrusy, but not overwhelmingly so. And it’s not bitter at all, but I can still taste the black tea. It’s not a tea that made me go “Wow, I’ve never had anything like this!” but rather, “Yes, this is what Earl Grey should taste like.” :-)

I didn’t add any cream or sugar, but I did eat it with a slice of chocoflan. It paired really nicely with the heaviness of the cake and the creaminess of the flan, and I could taste the bergamot more after eating some of the chocoflan. Mmm… I definitely want to buy more of this to use as my dessert tea…

I keep trying to like this tea and I just can’t do it. It’s not bad, but it only tastes like cherry (which I guess should be expected). It’s not too sweet, but I can’t taste the green tea at all. :( Since I’m not much of a fan of cherry (only have this because it was a gift), it’s disappointing to not have any of that green tea taste to counteract it.

This is really nice tea to start the day with. It has a lovely aroma (you can smell the jasmine from the moment you open the box!) but a light, gentle taste. It’s a very simple tea, which is just what I want first thing in the morning.

I love the roasted rice flavor in this. It reminds me of eating noo roong ji, the rice that sticks to the bottom of the rice cooker.

Wow… I don’t think I’ve ever had a tea like this before. I’m not sure what to say except that this feels a lot like love. I didn’t really believe that it was going to taste like coconut, but it totally does! Yum.

Now I’m drinking my third steep of this. Still a bright, happy yellow, still fruity sweet with an aroma that makes me think of sunshine. Yep, this is definitely love.

This was part of my mix sampler from puriTea, which came today. Super fast shipping, I just ordered it yesterday afternoon. I can’t wait to try the other samples I got.

I got this from Den’s sampler pack when I went to buy some green tea for my mom. I only chose Den’s because it happens to be a few blocks away from my house, so I can just go pick up my orders instead of waiting for shipping. I was really happy to find out that the tea is quite good!

I brewed this with only 3 oz of water, like Den suggests. Such a small cup of tea, but I like the strong taste. It’s just the right amount of bitter, with a bit of that sweet vegetal taste that green tea has. I find it very refreshing. A yummy way to start the day.

A friend once asked me, if I could have anything in the world, what would I want? I immediately answered, “Superpowers, specifically superspeed like the Flash.” He said that didn’t count because it wasn’t real, so my second choice was a cupboard full of every flavor of tea in existence. He promptly told me that that was a waste of a wish and said he would ask for the world’s biggest yacht.

But the more I think about it, the more I’m sure that I made the better choice. Slowly saving up money for higher quality teas is helping to convince me. Off I go to taste as many teas as I possibly can (and maybe dream about superpowers along the way).
