One of my favorite things about this tea is how easy it is to brew. As it says on the back of my pouch, it can be “brewed casually”, which means that I don’t have to worry about water temperatures and exact steeping times. That’s nice for the morning, when I’m too groggy to worry about stuff like that.

I have nothing to add to the description of the taste. The other reviews have already covered it well! It’s just delicious.

I agree that this tea is “surprisingly minty.” After drinking it, I get that coolness in my mouth that you get after eating mints. Other than that, though, this tea didn’t taste like much. A little sweet, with a roasted aroma that I can’t really find in the taste. I’ve tried brewing it all different kinds of ways with different amounts of leaf, but I can’t get it any stronger. It’s not bad, but I wouldn’t buy more of it.

Well, it’s 85F outside, but I’m still drinking hot tea. Probably not the best decision, but iced tea has never been my thing.

The first time I steeped this tea, I used too much leaf and it came out waaaaay too bitter and astringent. I forced myself to drink it, but I didn’t enjoy it and shied away from it for a couple weeks. This time was much better.

The first steep has a caramel/cocoa taste to it, although it’s not sweet by any means. I kinda think of it as a stronger version of thepuriTea’s Golden Yuunan. I think this would be a really good tea to drink first thing in the morning when it’s a little cooler outside.

The second steep is lighter than the first, more cocoa than caramel. I’m not sure how to describe the aftertaste, but it makes me want to go eat meat. Savory, I guess?

Got a sample of this with my last order from Den’s. I pouted when I saw it because I rarely like flavored teas. That being said, this is good! I also didn’t believe it would be creamy, but it is. And, yeah, pineapple scent is super strong. I opened the bag and went, “Yep, that’s pineapple assaulting my nose.” Yum. I would definitely buy this again for my friends who do really like flavored senchas.

This tea reminds me of autumn. It’s toasty and woody, and just tastes warm somehow. I know, it’s hot tea, but the flavor makes me feel especially warm and relaxed. You know that happy feeling you get when the leaves start to change color in fall and you think about curling up with a soft blanket, a good book, and a cup of tea? If that feeling had a flavor, that’s what flavor this tea would be.

I’m almost through my sample of this. I think I may have brewed it with a little too much water, as the flavor is lighter compared to last time I had it. I’m using a new teapot (also from Den’s) since my dad accidentally broke the one I got from the puritea a few days ago. Still getting used to the size.

I got this as a sample from Den’s a few weeks ago, but I’ve been putting off drinking it because I’m not a fan of flavored teas. Or iced teas, for that matter.

Today I had to drive around in hot weather for a couple hours, so I popped this in a water bottle last night to take with me. I like how convenient it is.

It tastes exactly like how it sounds. Minty, and then you get the bitterness of the green tea plus that vegetal aftertaste on the back of your tongue. They work pretty well together, especially for hot weather. I probably wouldn’t buy it again, but I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who likes iced tea, if only because it’s so simple to make.

This tea totally smells like honey. The taste is really light, a little earthy with more of that honey flavor and creamy. I actually quite like it for breakfast since I don’t like heavy things in the morning, but I see how pairing it with food would overwhelm the light flavor.

This is the only Dragonwell tea that I’ve ever tried, but I really enjoy it. It has a warm, sweet, kind of roasted aroma. The taste is really grassy with some bitterness as an aftertaste. There’s another taste in there, but I can’t decide how to describe it. It’s a little more woodsy than the normal sweetness of green tea.

I can’t wait to look more into Dragonwell teas and see what else to try. =)

I love how green Den’s teas are! This one is a light yellow-green, about the same color as the second smiley face on the tea rating slider.

I bought this tea for my mom because she has been trying to drink tea without sugar. This one is perfect for that. Barely astringent, light, and sweet. The second steep tastes a little more vegetal, but it’s still really refreshing.

I’ve made this tea before, but this time it has a slightly bitter taste to it. I’m not sure what that’s about, since I made it the same as always. Hmm.

The aroma is really yummy, but the flavor of the tea is pretty light. I feel like this would be a good tea to try if you’re curious about what Bai Mu Dan tastes like but don’t want to go to the trouble of ordering it online (since you can get it for an okay price at World Market). Bai Mu Dan definitely has a really unique taste that I’m never really sure how to describe and I think this tea is a decent sample of it.
