Fun place. The food is nice and fancy and the garden is great. Pretty overpriced though so unfortunately it’s a bit pricey to come here too often. Pots of tea at $9 and $13 is a bit hefty for my tastes. But the quality is very nice and you can’t beat the location. Good for a date or a special night out.

Tasty place. Some options can get a bit pricey but they do stock a heck of a lot of tea and are always friendly and helpful. I miss their Silk Oolong Formosa! They stopped carrying it a while back which is a huge shame. But they do have some other stuff which is nice. Stick with the oolong/chinese/etc teas. I got their straight flavoured black teas and they were just ok, but their oolong is particularly good.

Lupicia has an excellent staff and some of the absolute tastiest teas I’ve ever had. I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove this place. Absolutely worth a visit.

The Green Rooibos called “Adagio” is my favourite. Champagne Rose is amazing too. So many great options, I want to buy it all. What an awesome place. The branch near Cupertino is excellent too.

I loooooooooooove this place. The scones are very nice.

If you’re like me, you will be the only other male there and the only people under 80. But that is part of the charm. (Actually, in reality there were a few younger groups when I went). But anyway it’s a really cool spot, it’s great to hang out there and the sandwiches and food and petit fours and scones were all out of this world. The tea is really excellent and they have some great options. The store across the road sells some great stuff, be sure to bring some extra money for take home teas and don’t forget to take the coupon over to next door. Great spot.

Hello fellow tea nerds!

I’m Canadian and my parents are South African, plus I lived in England and Australia as a kid… so I’m rockin some pretty mad British Empire vibe and thus I’ve been a tea fan for quite some time. I am now totally hooked on loose-leaf. It’s super fun to try a bazillion new kinds of tea and choose the right one for a given moment in a day.

My favourite teas are well balanced, mild, maybe fruity/citrusy or with interesting flavours (eg: silk oolongs, grapefruit green rooibos, jasmine silver needle white tea, melon white tea). I also like a solid malty British or other bold style black teas with some oomph (eg: Yunnan Golden Tips, PG Tips).

Let’s nerd out together about why tea is so friggin’ epic!
