This is a nice tea. Good strength, but not overwhelming, as you’d expect from an high quality English Breakfast Tea. The employee at the store mentioned something about getting a discount on a second tea when you buy this one, and the discount is greater as you purchase more…so, I think I’ll have quite a bit of this in my cupboard soon. :P

This one is nice and strong, but the taste is kind of bleh…it’ll do the job in a pinch, but not one I’d grab regularly.

I knew I’d love this tea when I read the box. The bold flavor of the Assam is smoothed out nicely by the Ceylon. I think this might become part of the regular rotation.

This was a good introduction to rooibos tea for me. The vanilla is a nice complement to the rooibos. I’ve found some very nice loose leaf rooibos teas with vanilla recently, but this is a good inexpensive bagged one that you can find at the grocery store.

I was pleasantly surprised with this tea. I bought a sampler of green teas, and this one was included. I never would have bought it by itself, but after giving it a try, I definitely will buy it again! I’m not a huge fan of jasmine green teas, but this one is very nice. The jasmine is not overwhelming, just a good complement to the green tea. When I drink some jasmine green teas, I feel like I’m chewing on flowers, but this one is nice and balanced. I like my teas a little stronger, so I steeped it for 3 minutes…it held up well, no bitterness.

Good tea when I’m in the mood for genmaicha. The brown rice aroma is very strong and really transforms the taste of the tea, so I don’t go for it when I really want a green tea. I’ve only tried a couple genmaichas, but this is probably my favorite one. Very inexpensive also.

I thought this tea was a little too light at first, and thought it was pretty ordinary. However, when I increased the steeping time to 4-5 minutes, it quickly became one of my favorite teas. Balanced Darjeeling flavor, without any bitterness.

I wasn’t excited about this tea when I first had it, but it has started to grow on me. I prefer the grassier Japanese teas, but this tea has a nice, strong flavor, and it holds up to multiple steeps very well.

Solid bagged green tea. I prefer loose leaf green teas, but I choose this one often when I’m grabbing a tea bag. I’m a big fan of grassy Japanese teas, and I generally go with this one or the Stash green tea if I’m looking for bagged green tea.

I’m a tea novice, and I’m loving my introduction to the World of Tea. I started getting into tea about 4 years ago when I lived in Brooklyn, NY. At first, I stayed with green teas, and took black teas completely for granted. However, in the last couple years I have enthusiastically added them to my daily routine. I love strong Assam black teas in the morning, and Japanese green teas in the afternoon, especially matcha and gyokuro. I have recently become a big fan of Keemuns. I’m looking forward to learning about new teas on this site and talking to other tea lovers!

As far as ratings go, don’t trust me. I’m a high rater, and I’m easily impressed. If I rate a tea lower than 70 (which is going to happen rarely, it seems), I probably will not drink that tea again. I will splurge for some teas at times, but I love a bargain, so you will often see me celebrating under-appreciated everyday teas.
