I guess it wasn’t SO bad—I managed to walk out of my first visit to Lupicia with only three tins (this, chaud les marrons and melon oolong). Not a cheap trip but to be fair the prices are comparable to T2, yet I’d rather give my money to Lupicia these days. Also the store staff were absolutely adorable and so sweet! My friends who were with me also walked away with some tea. I’m such a tea enabler.
This blend wasn’t on my wishlist (the other two were) but physically being in store and getting to smell the dry leaves of some of my wishlist teas did end up seeing me cull a few. We also got to try the sample of the day, which was the super grade momo oolong—another from my wishlist, and the sample didn’t leave me gushing, so off it came too.
This one smelled so fruity and lovely dry that I couldn’t resist it—plus the tin was so pretty too. It’s cherry blossom season in Japan, I’m weak! It’s low caffeine (or maybe even decaffeinated) black so I poured a bedtime brew. Just plain it doesn’t do much but add just a small sprinkling of sugar and BLAM, the berry flavour smacks you in the face! In a good way, I think. I don’t regret this purchase!

If your still in Melbourne and are anywhere near Collingwood give Storm In a Teacup a visit…. I went last time I was home and they’re super friendly, have delicious tea and yummy treats!! :)
I always stop in at Storm for a drink when I’m in town! I had my nails done just next door on this trip and then had a naughty chai after :D
