1024 Tasting Notes
Hello again my beautiful delicious angel! It’s a cold, rainy night and I’ve just restocked this blend so it’s absolutely the time for a big ol’ mug of it. YUM.
I’ve got so much writing to do for NaNoWriMo and a lot of procrastinating has been done. I’m going to see how much I can push myself to pump out this week and we’ll see if I can’t still do it. I am still really into my idea, it’s just pushing the words out that I’m struggling with a bit. Or am I? Maybe I’m just really procrastinating.
I love this tea so much, by a large part for the reason it was made just for me by a sweet friend! Its main flavour is peppermint, with floral touches around the edges, and its colour is the most remarkable thing. Best with a little splash of honey to sweeten the edges and holds well for a resteep or two!
Tonight I went to a T2 event to see the new Christmas products but mostly to get 15% off everything. I have a killer cold virus right now so I asked one of the girls what I should hit up and without hesitation she was like “Lemongrass & Ginger, guuuuurl” (it was totally already in my basket) “AND Indian Spice, brew them up together for like 20mins and shove a bunch of honey in there.”
So I did. Four teaspoons of L&G and two of Indian Spice and just so much honey and everything is ok now.
This morning I made up an overnight cold brew of this blend and subsequently threw out the rest because it reminds me of my ex boyfriend and I don’t even really like it (I got a box for free in a promo maybe around this time last year but I’m much better at throwing things away these days). We’ll see how the cold brew goes.
Knocking teas down, one by one. Close to finishing this bad boy off now, too! I can barely believe it!
I’m not as in love with this blend as I used to be. I don’t know what’s happened. I threw in a sprinkle of sugar for a dessert tea tonight and it picked up the sweeter notes but I’ve lost the creaminess…
