drank Pumpkin Cheesecake by DAVIDsTEA

A creamy treat. I love this rooibos for late nights when I have to spend time online. Tonight I was selling off some MAC treats in order to get some $ for my new addiction – Asian beauty products :)

This light, flavourful, fragrant tea smells and tastes just like a piece of homemade pumpkin cheesecake. I won’t be using this tea much during spring and summer (just around the corner!)

Brews – deep amber brown/red
Fragrance – crisp, pumpkin, squash, sweet

Served hot with milk

Flavors: Butternut Squash, Creamy, Pumpkin, Smooth, Spices

Preparation
Boiling 7 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 32 OZ / 946 ML

drank Grape Expectations by DAVIDsTEA

This was one of the first teas I’d ever bought from DAVIDsTEA last year. Today was the first time I had tried it. I wasn’t disappointed, although I wouldn’t buy this again.

The smell was light and very grape-y. The colour was amber and the taste was light and refreshing. This would make a good iced tea.

Flavors: Floral, Grapes

Preparation
175 °F / 79 °C 3 min, 30 sec 2 tsp 32 OZ / 946 ML

Can’t say I’ve ever had a ‘grape’ tea. Now I’m curious…

If you can get your hands on it and you like the taste of grape Jolly Ranchers, this might be the one for you!

drank Cool Cactus by DAVIDsTEA

Picked this up tonight – 4 for $10. A light green tea with citrus notes and a sweet after taste. I think this would make a great infusion for the warmer weather.

Flavors: Cactus Flowers, Lemon, Lime, Pineapple, Sweet

Preparation
175 °F / 79 °C 3 min, 30 sec 1 tsp 14 OZ / 414 ML

drank Glitter & Gold by DAVIDsTEA

This was my gateway tea to DAVIDsTEA. I sampled a brewed cup in-store and fell in love.

I brought some home and followed the Tea Guide’s instructions to make a tea latte. I enjoy this every so often, but lately this tea has fallen wayside in my favourites. The flavour is lacklustre and disappointing. I much prefer Red Velvet Cake for a “dessert” tea.

Flavors: Caramel, Cinnamon, Clove, Creamy, Milk, Smooth

drank Sunny Citrus by DAVIDsTEA

I awarded this tea a rating of 50 – because I don’t yet know if I like it or not. I don’t generally like teas with hibiscus as a main ingredient. The smell of the tea is very lemony and has a hint of vanilla. I find the smell to be appealing, but a hint of something pungent exists and turns me off.

The tea is light and the lemon flavour is very present. I also taste something floral. I think I might enjoy this tea served iced rather than hot.

It reminds me of Neo Citran and I think that’s what turns me off.

Flavors: Astringent, Floral, Hibiscus, Lemon, Vanilla
