328 Tasting Notes
What a pleasant and soft tea. Upon opening the tin, the peach flavor was overpowering. So I thought. hmm, is this going to taste like some icky, peachy Jolly Rancher? Suprisingly, when brewed, both the peach and jasmine flavors are subtle and “synergize” into something quite nice.

Like others have said before, this is sweet and SLIGHTLY smoky. The smoky flavor in this tea is not overpowering…. It is quite mild and pleasant . I think I am going to enjoy this one….
This blend is a bust! It tastes 100% chamomile . So why not just save some money and purchase chamomile? Oh well…. luckily , this was only a free sample. And obviously I am backlogging from this weekend…
Better yet – why not save some money and GROW chamomile? ;)
I had a wonderful sample of this one so I bought a larger bag. I don’t know what the heckie-pooh they did to this tea, but the bag I got was absolutely blech. I still had a little left in the sample bag and I sniffed it: it smelled like a different tea (much sweeter and fresher). I think that you’ve nailed it — they upped the chamomile with a few things sprinkled around it. Denisend had mentioned “dirty sock” and that’s what I get from it now :(
Now that is an idea Jillian! Rabs- some other reviewer mentioned the blend change…
I had read that reviewer’s note but it seemed like he’d had the exact opposite reaction “what have they done — they’ve made it sweet?” So perhaps they got enough complaints and went back to the less sweet version because I got sweet in my sample and yuck in the bag.
Yum! First couple of times I did not get the steeping right but on the third time, with a little bit of sugar and milk, it really did taste like butter pecan ….In fact, as the nuttiness is quite subtle (and so is butter pecan ice cream), I have been having this as my morning brew for the past couple of days…
I love this tea. As it is getting warmer (well really hotter) , a dense , heavy Mountain Malt does not appeal to me in the AM right now. This tea is a whisper of smoke but again I don’t want to wake up w a roaring barbecue during the summer. It has a sweetness in the aftertaste so this is a nice light breakfast tea in the summer months.
Just got an Ipad and need to learn how to adjust the tea ratings on it. This tea is no 38
LOL! I was wondering ;) At least it’s a very good reason for the temporarily low rating :D
Lori I know what you mean…I have the iPad too. You can’t drag as I am sure you figured out you have to tap beyond what you want and hope it lands on the number you want. It takes time to figure out and is annoying but you will get used to it.

Man i could not rate stuff using the ipad, so frustrating!
