I had half a sample package of this and half a sample package of TeaVivre’s Strawberry oolong, so I mixed them together again for a yummy strawberry oolong. It smells and tastes very vegetal, as I was watching it steep (I love watching these teas unfurl), it made me crave sushi hardcore. So yummy and sweet and creamy. Perfect.
Preparation
Oh man, this is the perfect tea for my morning. I got about three hours of sleep last night, but this tea is waking me up and making me happy and getting me ready for my day. Which is good, because I have a lot to do. But this is a wonderfully cinnamony, shimmery cup of joy. Definitely better hot than iced.
This tin of tea is the first tin of tea we ever bought. So yay memories! But this also means it’s five and a half years old. Yikes. My tummy has been off for a few days, so hopefully this will help with that.
It’s still good! Gingery and earthy and tasty. Since it’s taken us five years for drink down this tin, we likely won’t get any more, but it will be yummy until it’s gone.
Preparation
I had forgotten how much I love this tea. For me, it’s like hot cocoa with a hint of mint. Hot cocoa is too…cocoa for me. Blasphemy, I know, but sometimes I want something lighter than just liquid chocolate, as I’m not a huge chocolate fan myself. But this tea is just perfect, creamy and smooth without being overwhelming.
I woke up to a wonderfully drizzly morning. Yesterday the build up for a storm gave me a migraine so bad I couldn’t eat or get out of bed or barely even opening my eyes. But worse than that, I couldn’t even handle tea! :O Awful. So this morning I reached for two of my favorites, Nepal Black and Read My Lips. My cuppa Nepal Black was just lovely, and I was reminded just why I love this tea so much. It was bracing without being harsh and has a sweet note I just adore. This will always be a staple in my home.
Ooooh, I’m almost out of this one, which is bittersweet because I love it. It tastes like raspberries and cream, sweet without being cloying. Mine doesn’t have any meringue left, I don’t know if they just melted with time or if I just had them all ages ago.
I miss RiverTea so much, with their unique blends and tasty basics. Hopefully TeaTaxi will fill that niche for me. crosses fingers Though no one can come close to the customer service at RiverTea, they were amazing.
