1473 Tasting Notes
I love the sparkly cinnamon vanilla goodness of this tea, I think i need to move it out of sipdowns. This is one I definitely need to keep in stock.
This is one that I really don’t understand the appeal of. Perhaps I need to try again. Am I doing something wrong?
It’s one of those that when it’s right, it’s amazingly yummy, but when it’s wrong, it’s horrible. For me, I love the cinnamon hit. I brewed it at boiling for two minutes using one “perfect” teaspoon. I also drink all of my “hot” teas lukewarm >.<
Anytime. This tea can be hit and miss and if you’re not into cinnamon, it may be a consistent miss, sadly.
I have been craving this tea for days, but always think of it later on in the day and I didn’t want the energy burst. It’s hard enough to get to sleep right now due to our lack of a bed >.<. Anyway, I finally made a cup this morning and it’s as good as I remember. I love this tea.
Morning cuppa and it’s just alright. I had this iced a few days ago and it didn’t taste good, but I thought it was just because my iced tea mugs needed a good clean. However, now that I’ve had it hot, the issue is with the tea, sadly. It’s just eh. Only a little bit of this left and I’ll be glad to see it go.
Yesterday my wife and I made butter using Tea Monkey’s Vanilla Chai cold brewed in whipping cream. I was making a tomato soup that called for cream, so we made butter to use up some of the extra cream. The butter is delicious and surprisingly strong in the chai flavor area! But the process of making butter also creates buttermilk and I saved it to splash into this to amp up the chai flavor and it is delicious. Not gonna change the rating because I don’t know how much is the milk and how much is the tea.
