68 Tasting Notes
Just finished up the last of this tea. It was delicious. I have not had many black tea/ rooibos blends, but I really enjoyed how those two distinct flavors mingled together. Needed sugar to get that real Maple Syrup taste, but overall this is one of my favorite teas from Deb.
Flavors: Butter, Cookie, Flowers, Malt, Maple, Maple Syrup, Rooibos
Preparation
Delicious black tea. Scent of the tea is powerful, taste is milder, but still strong. Highly recommend this with a pinch of sugar to level out the anise. Juniper berries are the most prevalent and what make this tea unique.
Flavors: Anise, Bark, Berry, Coriander, Herbaceous, Malt, Pepper, Pine, Spices
Preparation
When you open the container the juniper/woodsy/conifer scent whacks you in the face, but it mellows out in the beverage. It is fantastic! reminds me of pine forests in the winter.
One of my favorite cold brews! Refreshing without being too tart or overbearing. Rose is present, but not overly floral. My entire family loves this on its own or mixed with lemonade. My only complaint is that if I drink too much, the turmeric upsets my stomach. But that just means I shouldn’t drink more than 2 quarts in any given day.
Flavors: Apple, Green Apple, Hibiscus, Lychee, Rose, Turmeric
Preparation
Absolutely delicious. Sweeter than expected, should not have added sugar as it didn’t need it. Tasted like floral nectar, but not in the way that honeysuckle does, a little more fresh tasting.
Flavors: Nectar, Osmanthus, Pear, Spring Water, Sugar
