4 Tasting Notes
So I figured I would try a Russian blend, and this one’s alright. Maybe it’s just not my thing. It smells great before steeping, but maybe my process is messing it up somehow. Overall, it’s average-ish, and alright for a cold day. Nothing special, though..
Preparation
There is something special about this tea for me. Perfect for sitting down and thinking. I don’t know how to describe the more prevalent flavors I get out of this one, but it’s awesome. It is my favorite green tea, and I would recommend it to anyone who tried and dislikes sencha teas.

I really like Assams in general, and this one did not disappoint. The first steep did have a malty vibe with intermittent, light flavors. The second steep changes and is a bit sweeter, but lighter. Overall, a great tea and a great value.
