drank Red fruits by Le Pain Quotidien
20 tasting notes

Teas are not main of the Le Pain quotidien. they have just four to five teas, but they’re not that bad enough to forget writing tasting note. Today i tried ‘red fruits’. it’s just simple triangle teabag.
unfortunately the water they served wasn’t hot enough, so i wait over 4mins to see the color turns to real red. Strawberry smell is awesome, but not strong, so you have to closer your nose to teabag and take some time if you want to Smmmell it entirely.. i hate acid taste which some fruit tea has at their last moment, but this red fruit tea has very clean last in compared with others. one or two ts of sugar makes it like cherry or strawberry candy. but i recommend you earl grey if you take it with their great cakes, flan, and tarts.

it’s the most well-known and common type of ginseng tea in korea,
in a small tea cup with a spoonful of honey, my parents used to make it a lot because they trusted its remedial value on my cold constitution and low blood pressure.

nearly all the ginseng tea manufacturer sell this small coarse power type of ginseng tea to popularize ginseng and their other ginseng products in the long run. you don’t have to try all the ginseng teabags, most of ginseng brands make similar taste of ginseng powder tea, they’re not like tea companies who try to create appealing tastes and smells .it’s just one of the easiest way to take ginseng for health.
especially in cold days of winter, it really help refresh your body, and it’s good when you’re chilled to the bone or get a cold. and usually honey is considered as a booster for its effects and better taste.
Rating it by same standard with other ‘teas’ would be probably very hard, but i think it’s quite great, it was almost ‘korean breakfast’ tea for a while,,
but it can’t give you any joyful moments like black tea, which lets you try some experiments on your recipes.
Add more honey or not,, that’s all.

this popular korean(Goryo) ginseng is made of human shaped species of ginseng, which is called Panax ginseng C.A.Meyer and that’s why it’s wrote like 人(human)蔘(ginseng)

just ordinary earl grey, basic, good flavor
but in my experience, it was much better to drink it in straight
without milk or sugar..

drank pu-erh tea (bo-i-cha) by Tea Zen
20 tasting notes

i just finished 100 teabags during last six months,
it’s korean tea company but they’re manufacturing their products with chinese leaves. I love this tea, not very expensive, strong enough, and it goes well as a milk tea with a very special combination with its original flavor. As itself, it might be too strong if you let your teabag over just 2 mins, the color turns to red, then brown, then vandyke brown.
And with its darkest version, a splash of milk makes it perfect..
not very high quality as a pu-erh tea but since there’s so few genuine pu-erh tea in the marketplace, without all the discussions about pu-erh, it can be the one for everyday pu-erh with good price. clean and strong.

i bought this english breakfast in the small supermarket spending ages to choose one perfect for milk tea, actually there was not so various choices, in monoprix, paris,
i heard that the yorkshire tea of Taylors of Harrogate is quite strong and nice, so thought it’ll be not that disappointing, and then, i tried with homemade pancake with golden syrup,
poured milk a bit, and brown sugar. The tea was not that strong to maintain its flavor with milk, i don’t know what most british feels about this one, but i think it’s much better to taste in straight way if you prepare strong, full, black tea flavor
anyway, it doesn’t work for me as a morning awakener.

In the middle of last decade, i just fell into the baking world. After using tons of flours trying all the recipes which can be found on the planet earth from the ciabatta to gingerman in our image, after our likeliness, i found that he seemed thirsty for someone and lonely. i gave him a coke, but she was not his type. so i took a dash of milk from his flank and made a cup of tea. And I saw that it was good.
