I absolutely despise cinnamonny herbal teas soooo LET’S SEE WHERE THIS GOES!
Gotta be up early and I need my herbals. Dude. I need to stop buying black teas and buy more herbal/rooibos teas because I drink a whole lot of them at night.
But I looooove my blacks!
But then again, I’m on doctor’s orders to try to cut down on my caffeine intake so.. I should get rid of my black teas.. BUT THEY’RE SO GOOD.

Okay. This tea.
It was originally rated 50 because I remember not enjoying it the last time I had it. But, I did try TeaForté’s Apple Spice whatever, which I got around the same time I got this Harney order and I hated the Apple Spice, but I tried it again not too long ago and I ended up liking it sooo let’s see if I like this one!

This is a sipdown though. A very very happy sipdown :)
Happy to get rid of it because I didn’t really like it before? But noow… I’ve got another 2 minutes to brew so I don’t even know.

It smells like… cinnamon. WOW WHAT A SURPRISE.

Trying it for the first time in about 2 months and… NOPE NOPE. NOPEITY NOPE.
DO NOT LIKE.
I’ll try to finish it was much as I can tonight?
Wait.
I have an idea.
Imma throw this in the fridge and see how it tastes like iced.
It has like a weird bite to it so… maybe that bite will go away chilled?
Okay. Will edit this tasting note tomorrow when I try it cold :)

I first discovered my love for tea with jasmine teas because that’s all my mother would buy, so for the longest time, I thought that all teas were jasmine! And then in 4th grade, I watched the tea episode of Good Eats and that’s when the education started! I’d like to blame Alton Brown for starting this obsession because now I only like loose leaf tea.
It wasn’t until my second year of college that I actually expanded my tea taste buds. Special shout out to Cara McGee, Tea Queen for her Adagio Fandom blends. Because of Cara, I actually started drinking blacks, herbals and whites and pretty much everything else in between. I still have a special love for my jasmine though :)
I (try to) drink tea daily. Usually just straight up, no sugar or milk. This little obsession started young and just… kept going, I guess.

also I apologize in advance for lazy tasting notes and horrible grammar in everything I write. I was an avid fandom blogger on tumblr and tumblr talk can get in the way of everything kthxbai
