Finally got to go here because I visiting a friend who wanted moral support for a check up in the clinic nearby. Unfortunately, this was also the day they were having troubles with their supplier so the hi-tea trios were all out. I got a pot of Morning Rain, and we liked it. Scone was a bit hard and dry, but tasted good. Wasn’t a big fan of the matcha green tea latte— didn’t really taste like anything, and wanted more of the bitter vegetal taste that’s in good matcha.

Location was pretty okay, feels like a good place to hang out in. It doesn’t have the feel of people judging you because you don’t know what you want. I’ll probably give it another chance when I’m in the area again— hopefully they’ll have that hi-tea trio in stock this time!

Went here twice on my last visit to Portland. Got the #67 (Vanilla Rooibos) for the first visit because it was night time and I wanted something to warm me up. One of the better rooibos I’ve had!

Second trip was to get bubble tea— got some thai bubble tea and it’s better than the one I get in my area. Friend got a raspberry bubble tea which was refreshing without being cloying and sweet. Another friend bought some of their teas to try when we got back (2 ounces of some of their tonics) and she said they all taste pretty good.

Maybe I’ve just been visiting at good times (Friday night / Saturday morning) because it wasn’t packed when we got there.

Overall, a good experience and I’ll probably go there on my next visit. 4 stars though because I have no point of comparison between this and other teahouses in Portland.
