Seriously, what am I doing wrong? I used 4 heaping teaspoons this time and steeped for nearly 10 minutes and unsweetened it was slightly sweet water. Sweetener improved the flavors and it is really tasty, but nothing like the other reviews. For the record, the 4 tsp also makes it look darker and almost thicker in a way which leaves a pretty nice mouth feel. Still, I’m not sad that Teavana likely discontinued this blend. I’ll enjoy while I have it, but eh.
And I think I’m going to try combining this with another one of my chocolate-based teas and see if that helps gives the chocolate flavor more oomph. It certainly can’t hurt!

I never get a ton of chocolate with this tea. I like the banana sweetness to it, but I do find it works best when I just set it to steep and forget about it until the water is cool enough to drink.
I couldn’t get past the color. It was the color of white wine and suppose to taste like chocolate – couldn’t wrap my head around that. They say you eat with your eyes first – it didn’t look like chocolate and therefore it didn’t taste like chocolate. It was also really thin – tasted watery too me.
You can try blending it with another tea, or you can toss a few chocolate chips in your infuser.

@mewakeling: Next time, I’ll do that.
