92 Tasting Notes
This…this is lemon with lemon and the scent of pledge. My husband requested it, so he can have it more then likely. Hot its almost acidic. I’m going to give it a shot over Ice the way its suggested in the description, and see if that makes it any better because WOO does it feel like I’m drinking pledge.
Preparation
I’ll say it again, this tea is phenom. I will be buying more soon. Just drank some while watching Paranormal Witness. Figured it might be something that would keep me calm, since its green tea. Pretty wrong, but I’m still proud that I’ve found a show that can actually freak me out.
I found the iced style of this on clearance at Kroger and I decided I tried it out, stuck two bags in a gallon jug, filled it up with water and waited. What I didn’t realize is that its meant to be hot brewed and then chilled (which is realistically not going to happen and this is probably what I would’ve done anyway) Drinking my first cup of it today, It tastes very mild. I’m assuming thats because the heat wasn’t there to bring out the louder flavors. The scent is really peachy, but the flavor itself is mostly mild black tea. At any rate, I’m getting two pitchers of tea out of this box (gallon size) For two dollars, I don’t mind it.
Preparation
This tea is just lovely (though I bought it from a different seller, all the things here seem right so I’m assuming same tea from different sources?). It has a warm sweetness, and when you add some milk and sweetner, it makes for an extremely lovely and drinkable tea. Anyone whos curious about this, please let me know, I’m looking for a reason to go visit the shop this was bought at again, and buy more.
Preparation
This tea solidifies that my taste buds have become distinctly more fond of Ginger in the last few years. Its a lovely peach and ginger hybrid when it comes to flavor. Something I could drink daily. Its not terribly darkly colored, or overly flavored. Incredibly well done blend.
Preparation
I read the reviews before I tried this and was horrified at the mention of hibiscus. Its one of my least favorite tea additives. Luckily I don’t even notice it in the cup I’m drinking at the moment. This is like a warm pumpkin chai with a nice subtle pumpkin. Definitly a fan of more then just the name.
Preparation
Roobios is hit or miss for me. Some days I love the stuff and others I can’t get past the ‘mulchy’ flavor and scent. Luckily tonight is a night where I can enjoy it. I was looking forward to a nice calming cup since I had a rather eventful night (mostly positive, minus that kind policeman who pulled us over in a speed trap.). This tea really hit the spot. The almond smell is definitly there, and I absolutely adore the addition of the sprinkles. I think things like this bring out the kid in me, in a really awesome way. The taste is all roobios, with a dash of almond on the back of my tongue. I love almond/amaretto flavors a lot, so this makes me happy.
Preparation
Whats funny is that my husband perpetually drives like he’s running from the mob. And the one time he legit just didn’t notice the speed limit had changed on the freeway (it was around 2am on the way home on a friday night, he’s not trying to get breath tested even if he hasn’t had anything boozy since 10) he got pulled over. The cop we had was actually really cool about it, and only wrote for 5 over when my husband was doing more like 20 over. But damn what kind of luck lol.
