drank Rest and Digest by Tealux
183 tasting notes

My huge (for me) Tealux order arrived today. I now have 36 new teas, mostly sample sizes, to try. I haven’t even finished trying the teas from my TeaFrog order yet. I think I’m becoming an addict.

It was pretty late when I got home, so I pulled out an herbal blend to try. I’m a fan of anise and fennel, so I thought Rest and Digest would be pretty good. I don’t think I’ve ever had lemon balm in a tea before, though.

I get definite tastes of fennel and chamomile when drinking it, which I liked. There’s a bit of a floral note at the end that I’m not a huge fan of, though. I’m not sure if that’s the lemon balm or the safflower. It’s not bad, it’s just not great.

Overall, a very drinkable tea, that likely would help with digestion if that was an issue.

Bio

I’m a vegan, board-game playing, avid reader who likes to run and/or lift weights depending on my mood (and current injuries).

I’m fairly new to tea, but my collection seems to be growing at an exponential rate. Herbals, greens, whites, and now oolongs are my teas of choice at the moment. I haven’t developed a taste for black yet (if it’s something you can develop a taste for).
