Chai with a hint of cocoa. I’d really rather be drinking hot chocolate or chai. I should try this with milk. It’s not blending well for me. Though I think I’m not using enough tea for my water volume.

Dec 3rd. This tea is so good. And I’m low on it. Tea buying soul says buy more, but wallet needs to recover from black friday sales. So I’ll have to wait. Rating 95

Dec 2nd. Smells and tastes- orange, spice. I can’t tell what kind of spices are present in this nor can I taste the oolong. It’s completely covered by the other ingredients. Rating 80

Another tea from cooking with tea variety pack.
Dry smell-coconut, sweetness
Wet-rooibos, ginger, cinnamon
Taste- rooibos, coconut, ginger, odd taste. Chai faint would like it to be stronger. As it cooled, I get more chai flavor. But I don’t like the overall taste. It’s either the rooibos base or the flavoring. I can’t remember if I even finished the cup and I definitely didn’t resteep. Not the tea for me. Rating 60

Just prior to drinking this tea, I broke the lid attachment of my gravity steeper trying to get the last of my previous tea out. I also had some contamination of flavor from the previos tea into the first steep of this one. Fortunately, no tea was harmed and added flavor disappeared after the first steep.
Appearance of tea lives up to its name, so many gold tips. It looks a little like small pieces of yarn or thread. Leaves smell dry and like linen. Brews surprisingly dark. Wet leaves smell of earth, tree.
1st steep- smooth and clean, malt and chocolate, with gingerbread flavor bleed.
2nd steep – get more chocolate and malt, very mouth coating.
3rd steep- Smell flowers, oak, and malt, fruity at the end of sip.
Great tea. Rating 90

I love the look of these leaves. The amount of tea added to my gravity steeper is eyeballed because this tea does not measure well with a teaspoon.
Smells sweet and floral. Tastes silky smooth, buttery, and floral. Rating 90

Mint. Mint. Mint. Mint. Mint. black tea. I like this tea a little less every time I drink it.

Nov 29th. This tea is from a variety package for cooking with tea that I got for Christmas. It’s not one I would have ordered myself but I’m game to try it. Definitely a little put off by the artificial flavor notation in the ingredients list.
Dry smell – pecans, toffee
Taste- nutty, apples, pecans, toffee. Flavorings stay balanced through both steeps.

Nov 29th. I’m liking this tea more. Still bready, spicy. Tastes like eating a gingerbread house. I need to increase my rating to 85.
