This needs more leaf.

It is sweet and creamy with caramel. The flavour is fine but for a first steep, this is WEAK.

Edit: used double the amount and is steeps a second time well. But that’s 4 tsp in 10 oz!

It’s alright…. it’s a weird flavour if you think about it, so even if it’s fairly accurate it’s still weird.

First steep I turned into a latte with International Delight Vanilla because it was too oily. Turns out this chocolate-y latte drink.
Second steep (steeped forever) straight is actually not bad.

It’s fine for a whatever tea.

WOW! First steep: strong fruity, sweet (didn’t turn sour even when boiling!). Does taste like a mash of all of those fruits – guava and other tropicals + apple.

Second steep: fruity water, moderate.

I bet this could go for a third if set on a 30 min boil…

Boiling 6 min, 15 sec 3 tsp 9 OZ / 266 ML

By itself, the first steep you can definitely taste the puerh. There’s an undertone of coffee flavour but it’s definitely tea and not coffee.
I don’t really like black coffee so I added International Delight vanilla (2 tbsp to 16oz Nordic mug) and now it’s quite pleasant. Would I buy it again? Probably not, I like my teas to be more versatile, to be drinkable with or without sweetener. But I’ll definitely be happy while drinking the rest of my tin.

Jasmine flavour isn’t as strong as it could be, I’ve had better teas at dimsum.
It’s drinkable, nothing good or bad about it.
Be careful with steeping temperatures, this does burn.

It’s alright… it’s not as sweet as I was hoping.
It has a smokey aroma that I’m not too fond of. The straight tea tastes alright, but again a bit too smokey for me.

Turned it into a latte, and it’s passable but I wouldn’t buy this again. Smokey aroma and slightly smokey cardboard taste.

I don’t have a proper whisk (used a large metal one) so that might affect this review but: pleasant drinking it straight, a little grassy with no bitterness. It’s my first foray into straight matcha that’s not in ice cream form though, so it’s not as “sweet, creamy, delicate” as the description would have you think. But that’s just my beginner’s palate not appreciating this yet?

Mixes well into a latte… that’s probably how I’ll drink this.

P.S. Drink it soon after you make it! Again, probably an issue to do with lack of a matcha whisk but the matcha clumps back out of solution and sits at the bottom if you leave it alone.

Doesn’t brew up sour. Pretty strong flavour and aroma!
I didn’t bother with a second steep, but it probably is possible.
An easy work tea.
