This is one of my favorite green teas. The cherry flavor is subtle and it doesn’t remind me of cherry-flavored lozenges at all. It isn’t overly-grassy like some green teas can be.

I love the brothiness and nuttiness that you get from the brown rice. It pairs well with the grassiness of the green tea.

This tea smells very tropical when dry but it is more subtle once brewed. I don’t find it overpowering like some of the other fruit teas from Zhi. Tastes fantastic both hot and iced!

This is a very nutty tea with a subtle raspberry flavor. I think the flavors work very well together.

This is hands-down the best chamomile tea I have ever tasted. It’s very flavorful and produces a beautiful golden-yellow cup. Very smooth with some slight honey flavor. I love drinking this before bedtime to help me sleep.

This tea is incredibly smooth with no astringency. I love the chocolate flavors and to me it’s also somewhat earthy – it’s delicious and it’s the perfect morning cup.

This tea is pretty to look at with the miniature roses, but that’s about it. It’s sickeningly floral. Couldn’t stand it and it gave me a headache.

Minty but not overpowering by any means. I love this tea and it really doesn’t need any additional sugar due to the Stevia leaf that is already in this blend. This tea is also caffeine-free which allows me to enjoy it in the evening.

I can definitely taste the mango in this tea. Adding a little bit of sugar or honey brings out the mango flavor, imo. This tea is wonderful both hot and over ice.

Bio

I’m a registered nurse working in the ER and currently a family nurse practitioner student. I’m also a tea enthusiast, video game nerd, foodie, fitness junkie, introvert, & nature lover. You can find me wherever there is tea and food!

I got started getting into loose leaf tea a few years back at (hate to admit it) Teavana. Since then I’ve started branching out. Black and oolong teas are my favorite and that’s what I drink the most of. I also like green tea, and white tea is okay. I like some rooibos tea blends and I’ve never had pu’erh.

My usual brewing method: 12oz mug, 1.5-2tsp loose leaf tea, fresh water heated to correct temp and steeped for correct amount of time (depends on what I am drinking). I use a Cuisinart 1.7L Perfect Temp Electric Cordless Kettle.

I want to get into the gongfu cha way of brewing.
