I really, really like this pu-erh. It has the full musty body of a pu-erh without being too harsh. I can usually only do a small cup of the straight stuff, but add some toffee and caramel and I break out the giant Disney Goofy mug! It’s lovely. I take it black but it would hold up well to milk and even a little sugar.
My ONLY complaint – and this is only going to affect those who decaffienate by pre-steeping – is the toffee melts quickly and is pretty much gone by the second steeping. Not an issue if you’re only going to steep it once, and still very yummy.

One of my favorites when I lived in Edinburgh! Great color, great smell and incredibly fast and easy to make. I always drank mine black, because I’m a strange American, but this tea can hold its own with sugar and a splash of milk.

This was one of the first blends with which I ventured away from straight black tea. It just sounded interesting. And so….PROPER. Sure, I had tasted mango tea, and almond tea, and vanilla. But this was something totally different. I didn’t have a wide-brimmed hat but I figured I would try it anyway.

It is incredibly light and fragrant, but it still tastes like tea. Some fragrant teas taste overwhelmingly like their fragrance, but this one does not. I like this in the afternoon or the evening. The smell always brings a smile to my face, and I can picture myself sitting in a manicured garden sipping in the sunshine and eating little lemon cookies. Even though I’m usually just sitting on my couch watching junk television.

This is one of my favorite teas. I’m not normally a big fan of floral teas or anything herbal, but something about the smell and taste of this one instantly relaxes me. It’s now my default tea when I have a long day at work and I need to unwind. Tastes fantastic, nice and robust and zesty, and the aromatherapy is a nice bonus.

Spending three years in Scotland during the college years turned this Florida coffee drinker into a tea fanatic. Upon my return I was disheartened to learn that American teabags do NOT taste the same! Bye bye teabag, hello loose leaf and special teapots for each type.

Yes, I still drink coffee. But when I need to unwind, when I’ve had a bad day or when I just want something to sip with a small treat, tea is my go-to beverage.
