While the flavor of this blend is bold and daring, the holiday spirit kicks you in the face with a bit to much cinnamon. First tried in a latte form, which was great for the chilly evening stroll I was on, but became overwhelming after half a cup. Second tried straight. Still to much cinnamon. Sorry guys, maybe next year. :-/

Yes! This tea was absolutely amazing. Careful not to over steep as this tea can very easily taste bitter. If you love vanilla (I do), you have to try this. Add milk! The perfect evening tea to read with, and so far my favorite black tea at Coffee Bean.

Classic breakfast tea… however I had this at night, which ruined my stomach and ability to sleep. Other than that with a “spot of milk” this tea was truly a delight. Good staple, probably really fun to experiment with in blends. Just a thought.

Eh. Sure the cherry blossom aroma is cool, but this tea just didn’t give the enjoyable taste I was hoping for. Adding sugar helped, but naturally this tea is just “meh”. If you like cherry I’d say go for it, but if you’re just looking for a good flavored green look elsewhere.

The product description says “traditional” and that’s exactly what you get with this tea. The coloring, if steeped correctly, is a perfect lime green. The aroma and taste have a dynamic grassy taste to it that further instills the classic nature of this tea. If you’re looking for flavor or anything full of flavor look elsewhere this Lung Ching is subtle and classy. Light body. Great for studying.

Let’s face it… I’m a sucker for Jasmine (and I don’t mean the Disney Princess)! This tea while easily over steeped is one of my staples for when I’m out and about and looking for a good loose leaf to grab. With the fantastic aromas of the jasmine flower this green tea nails it when it comes to subtly. This tea is simple. Leave it that way!

My first experience in the Darjeeling family… very intriguing. By far one of the boldest blacks I’ve tasted; I really enjoyed the full body taste this tea offered while being totally complimented by what I guess would be described as the pleasant aroma of a Darjeeling. Would love to try more from this family of tea.

Hehe, if you want to really get into this tea type you have no idea what you’re in for. There are three main flushes of Darjeeling tea, each with their own distinctive characters. Plus the flavour can also vary surprisingly widely from estate to estate. People can get really crazy over this tea type – not to scare you off or anything! ;D

I grabbed this tea during a breakfast with my buddies at Corner Bakery and was blown away by how much it grew on me in just a short 16oz cup. The vanilla evens out what would have been an overbearing citrus flavor, while complementing the sweet with a hint of jasmine. The aroma, while a little too sweet in the beginning grows on you. Perfect for a late morning tea to push you through to lunch.

I was given this rooibos as a gift, however as it seems the company that produced it has discontinued this particular blend. Sad day. This rooibos blended with a fascinating blend of nutty tastes makes for a perfect afternoon tea. Not to mention the deep orange coloring looks so cool while steeping! The second steep which looses a little flavor still manages to be very enjoyable. I added half&half to experiment… ruined the dynamic nature of the blend. Best served straight. I wish I could find where to buy more. :-/
