I know I comment on this one a lot, but the cup I just made is delicious. The scent is sweet and it doesn’t overcompensate the flavor. It tastes better every time thanks to my yixing tumblr.

I don’t know what is about this cup, but it is the most delicious cup of Gyokuro I’ve had in a long time. The color is pure light green and aroma gives me a teagasm: grassy sweet and full of goodness that are just impossible to describe. It has sweet aftertaste that lingers in your mouth for a long time and just gets better with each sip. I want to go on in paragraphs about this tea in wax poetry style.
Mmm mmm mm.

I added about 8 pearls of Silver Yin Zhen Pearls and it tastes like a completely different tea! I steeped it for the amount of time for Dragonwell instead of the white tea, because I didn’t want it to become bitter. Adding the Silver Yin Zhen Pearls made the tea smoother and added a little powdery texture.

It has the sweet aroma of Dragonwell, and a sweet grassy aftertaste too! And the pure green color of Gyokuro Imperial. Sencha is by far my favorite and the cheapest of the three! Definitely stocking up on this one next time I stop by Teavana.

I mixed this with Gyokuro Imperial. I steeped it for only a minute and a half, because I didn’t want to over-steep the green tea. The Silver Yin subdued the flavor of gyokuro a bit, and it gave the cup a smoother and fuller taste.

I added it with Silver Yin Zen Pearls. The natural taste seems subdued and the tea is smoother. I prefer it unmixed.
I only steeped it a little over the amount of time for the Gyokuro, and Silver Yin requires about 3 more minutes than that, so maybe I didn’t get enough of the two flavors together.

It has light floral aroma like Monkey Picked Oolong, but not as strong. Very smooth and full taste.

Nice light floral fragrance like Monkey Picked Oolong, but not as strong. Full and very smooth. I think I can make it better next time, and I’ll add another review.
