This wasn’t everything I was hoping it to be. Maybe I let the hype get to me and high expectations, but I found this tea to be weaker than I would have liked. The black tea just didn’t live up to the peppermint. I will say, the peppermint sprinkles were incredibly adorable.

I’m really just not a fan of the vanilla in this. It tastes very weak and not as sweet as I might want it. However, it is a pretty decent bagged rooibos, especially for the price. Definitely not my favorite RoT tea. I could really take it or leave it with this tea.

I really loved this tea. I normally don’t go for flavored Green teas, but I’m glad I gave this one a try. I really felt like I was actually eating an almond cookie. Even the second steep was delicious, with the almond taking a back seat to the Green tea.

Glitter underwhelming, and the same can be said for the black tea flavor. Pretty weak compared to other cinnamon black teas I’ve tried. Would only recommend if you prefer lighter teas, like white teas, and are trying to get into black teas.

I’m going to increase my tea to water ratio, and see if that improves this tea for me.

This tea is bitter, and has very little tropical flavoring to it. The worst part was that as the tea cooled, it just kept getting weaker and weaker. I would only recommend this tea to people who are just trying to get into green tea and prefer to not have too much of a grassy taste to their teas.

First of all, I really dislike that you have to get at least four oz of a blend due to the 2 oz. per tea minimum. Second, the sampler at Teavana is a lie. Well, that may be a bit dramatic but I’m pretty sure they douse that stuff in sugar. In reality, the tea alone has a sickly atificial sweetness that needs natural sweetness to offset it. It was way too tart, and it really just tasted like hot fruit juice. I might have given it a higher rating, but this tea’s price was way too high for its quality. Don’t let its pretty dry leaves get you.

I think that this is a pretty good tea for the price. Definitely not a life-changing tea or anything, but it is still pleasant. The main problem that I have is that the first steeping can be a little astringent, which is why I actually prefer the second steeping of this tea. It could also be a little smoother in my opinion. Really, the price is what makes it stand out.

I got an awesome Tay Tea sampler full of morning teas from my mother’s friend for Christmas. I absolutely loved every single one of them (especially the Kyoto) and I just had to review them! Although I had never heard of this company before, it is fast becoming one of my new faves. It has nice, full, beautifully curled leaves. The flowers make it aesthetically pretty. This tea is absolutely wonderful! It has that wonderful smoky flavor that is usually expected with most Oolongs, but what it was missing was what truly made this a new fave. I’ve found it hard to find Oolongs that aren’t bitter and have sharp aftertastes, but this one was VERY smooth (I think maybe because of the chrysanthemum flowers). The 2nd and 3rd steeping were a little weaker but heavy enough to still be delicious. The roasted taste made this tea a wonderful tea to start a cold winter morning. Overall, I would definitely recommend everyone give this one a try.

You can definitely tell this isn’t an actual tea, and that’s okay. I would suggest this as a nice little pick me up if you’re feeling sick or for children/adults who haven’t really adjusted to the normal tastes of teas.
