J.A. Braithwaite Ltd of Dundee, Scotland closes after 158 years

Sad to read that J.A. Braithwaite, tea and coffee retailer since 1868, has closed their doors, in retirement, last week. I enjoyed buying my tea in their shop on Castle Street, when I lived in Dundee some time ago, and imagined that a young Queen Elizabeth might have done the same, as she spent her childhood not far away, albeit many decades prior.
