QUESTION for everyone. I will be in Alabama the second week of Feb. Will be right next to a tea plantation. Would anyone want to do what MArtin did and I can bring a bunch back for people? The owners don’t ship. (I’m also doing a tea farm tour. I’m melting from the excitement you have no idea…)
That is SO COOL! I’d love to have you bring me some. I could Venmo or PayPal to cover costs.
I’m down for an ounce or so of whatever the tea they sell. Paypal in advance if necessary.
Skysamurai – Enjoy your tour of Fairhope Tea Plantation and the cup of tea with Donnie! He’s very nice and knowledgeable which means he has a lot to say so don’t be afraid to interject — he gladly accommodated my nerdier inquiries. Donnie and his farm are tucked-away treasures. The plants he pulled from the ground right there in front of me are what got me started on my current path.
I hope many people take you up on your offer to try his teas. The harvests I have are from 2021. I’d like to try some from this past year. Consider me interested in an ounce each of whatever he has available whether it’s black, green and/or yellow.
Awesome. To everyone but Derk then, how many bags would you like and is there a specific type, etc? I honestly have no idea of what I’m in for. But Derk makes it sound like it will be awesome. =D
Skysamurai – my cousin lives in Fairhope, AL! OMG it’s such a cute town! It’s very artsy fartsy and they leave their Christmas lights up :) Enjoy your trip!
Also, I’m interested in doing a TTB if you guys are starting one up.
I love it when coincidences like this pop up haha. Any suggestions for down that way? Anything thats off the beaten path that the general tourist might miss out on?

I would go once in the beginning and once again before Martin. I have a lot of dessert teas and others to share, if no one minds? I wouldn’t hold on to the box for long each time.

I am located in northern california, 1 hour south of Oregon border. I tried updating my profile so you can see if a real person but the website isn’t allowing me too >.<.
My guess is because your account is too new. In the past, we haven’t allowed new people simply because we had too many who would get the box and disappear. I will put you at the end for the moment. And we can change around the listing as you get more notes and time on Steepster. If that sounds okay.
I understand! I will be doing more tasting notes as i like to drink tea throughout the whole day.
