Cannot put info in Profile. Help?

I have tried several times in the Dashboard to put information in the Profile section.

When I click Update at the bottom of the form, the whole form goes blank.

Can someone help? Thank you.

Sometimes you have to wipe your cookies and try again. Before you do that though, do you have anything in all caps? Sometimes I have issues posting things if theyres too many caps.

Thanks very much for your help. Just cleared cookies. Will see if that works. Nothing in all caps.

ETA: Same as before. As soon as I click on UPDATE, the form goes blank.

I’m not sure, but I think because many new users are spam, for many functions on Steepster, you must be a member for about a month or something in order to change things like profiles. That might be the problem? In a month or so it might be fine.

Hmmm. Now that you mention it… I am having trouble too.

If Skysamurai is ALSO having the problem then disregard my original theory. :D

I realized I haven’t updated anything in awhile and was wondering why I didn’t take my Facebook page down since I can’t access FB anymore but I can’t change it cause I keep getting an error. Tea-sipper are you able to?

I just tested updating my bio and mine updated successfully… not sure if you mean the bio or the links area though.

Ah tried to update just the main text and that works but the error happens when updating the website area.

Yeah, I seem not to be able to upload a profile picture. I’d rather be more personable than this little blue pot. =/

AJRimmer said 3 years ago

I find the blue pot to be very personable!

I’m a blue pot too. It’s okay to be a blue pot. Blue pots can love, feel and think just the same as everyone else.

I recall another newish member asking about this not long ago… I’m convinced something is borked, but like the previous admins, Adagio kind of just “forgets” about this place and leaves no way to really get ahold of them to mention things like this… :-(

NibbleGuru said 3 years ago

Yeah…It’s great that Adagio is paying to keep the lights on, but if they’re short resources to work on it, I really wish they’d open source the code so others could help.

Agreed!!! My husband works for Target and could even help me do the things for Steepster. Maybe we could all review their tea on their website and leave little messages like " first reviewed on Steepster" ooo imma do that right now
