Georgian tea

Is it too late to be included in the order? I seem to have been absent from steepster this week :o

Feel free to join! Add your wishes to the spreadsheet above, please. (Added a line with you :) )

Thanks Martin, I could take a few more grams of any of the teas I marked if it helps to order an even amount.

Ah! Once I sip down some more of what I have I’d love to get in on this too. In the meantime muhaha. Here are two other companies, no well known.

This one is also from Georgia https://teatiff.com/2021/04/08/renegade-tea-estate/

And this one is from the country of Jersey. https://teatiff.com/2021/05/05/jersey-fine-tea/

Thank you! I still haven’t heard from them (it’ a week), so feel free to add a line with your name and requests :)

Just added mine to the spreadsheet. Hopefully I’m not too late. :-)

I can adjust my quantities if anyone needs to split.

You are not.
I had a hectic week in a work, moreover they did not reply to the email yet; so it’s still fine :)

I haven’t decided the deadline yet.

Hi everyone,
so far I haven’t heard from them, so hopefully this week I will be able to contact them in other way (probably through Whatsapp and Facebook). Please, check your wishes and I am calling the deadline for 24th April, evening (around 6 pm) of CET.

I had busy weeks at work, so I wasn’t really able to do anything about this. Sorry!

Okay, I have contacted them via Whatsapp. I have asked for a few questions similar to the email I wrote them before. At least the number is using the app. Last online, today 13:54 (probably my timezone). I have asked if we should wait for new harvest (which seems just around the corner).

Anyway. The deadline is above. Thank you for patience with me.

I am fine with a little delay if it means fresh tea!

Okay, no more orders!
But, sadly… I have wrote them on Whatsapp. They were online several times, but they never read my message. I have even tried include a Google Traslate of my message and… nada.

We will see how it will develop. Afterall, it is harvest session, so maybe they are busy with first teas. Let’s hope!

It is May 1st and I’m back from vacation. Happy to wait a bit longer, Martin, but I propose a cutoff – perhaps May 15? — for the tea co. to respond to your inquiry. If no word before then, we can postpone the order for 5-6 months until their ability to handle customer orders resumes. It isn’t fair to you to have to keep track of people coming and going from Steepster. Heck, I was gone for a whole year. And you shouldn’t get stuck with a bunch of unpaid tea!

Good news everyone (imagine Professor H. Farnsworth).
I decided to contact them again instead of studying for tomorrow exam (don’t worry, I did that as well). And they replied this time! Notes from the chat with them:

there is a fresh harvest right now, they were busy because of it;

they have thus overlooked my messages;

shipping to the CZ will be around 35 USD, at maximum, via Georgian post, maybe I will have to pay some customs duty;

Wild blueberry tea (no tea) harvest is delayed due to bad weather, but it should be within a week or so;

they will pack it as wished, so easier handling for me;

I will contact them next week, if they didn’t hit me up earlier about payment

What I expect from you is: once I place and pay for the order, I would like you paying me via Paypal (or some other way, but I prefer Paypal).

Letting me know if I should send it registered, non-registered (on your own risk), in a cardboard box or in foil envelope (I won’t use paper ones because the weather). I will write you actual price of shipping based on your decisions.

Glad they finally responded. Regarding shipping, any idea of the price difference between registered and non-registered mail to the US?

It seems that unregistered it is 204 CZK and registered 276 CZK for package up to 500 g. There may be discount for sending data online (a few CZK)
