Traveling Tea Box (TTB)
I have been talking to Shae as I’m next on this list, and since I’m going on vacation for a few weeks in early May I think it should go to the next person on the list and I’d love to jump in after them if that’s okay with everyone??
I’ll be vacationing for a few weeks in May as well, but then I’d love to hop back into the list after you!
The list is not set. It’s more of just an official list of who wants to participate but it can go to whoever is ready at the time. :)
It would be helpful to see the order it is going in (or at least so far) that way whenever my turn does occur (whether next or in the future), I know who has already gone when I need to reach out to someone to pass it along to!
I’ve finished sampling everything that I wanted to try, so I plan to start boxing everything up over the next few days. I know AJ and Tiffany are going to be away on vacation soon. Cameron, are you ready? Or Amanda? Let me know who might like to go next.
If anyone wants to try something that I have in my cupboard, let me know. It’s up to date. Maybe post it here? That way others can see what you want to sample and leave you a bit to try. I can add anything you’d like to the box, I just can’t guarantee that it’ll get to you if you’re further down the line.
Hoping to get everything packed up and sent out toward the end of this week or the first of next.
I’m a bit further down on the list but I’d love to try Teavana Youthberry White Tea and David’s Tea Movie Night.

I have a question as this is my first traveling tea box! Is it just loose leaf teas in the box, or are individually wrapped tea bags okay to include as well? I have a variety of them that I’m not going to drink and I’d love to pass along to others to enjoy but don’t want to break any rules!
Question on packaging for teas (especially smelly ones- liked smoked ones) does anyone have any recommendations for what works best?
I have a couple of smoky teas I was thinking about sending too. I was planning to double bag each tea and then put all the smelly teas in a dedicated ziplock. Someone here might have a better idea though.
One of the things you can do is look for any of your current tea packages that don’t allow the smell in or out and switch them out (unless they were in there so long you are worried it will contaminate the lapsang.
UPDATE: The tea box is on its way to getanzt as of Friday, April 29th. Thanks to everyone for being understanding about me keeping it longer than the typical week.
I’ve finished packing the tea box but I haven’t sealed it just yet. If there’s anything you want me to add, or anything I removed that you wanted to try, let me know and I’ll put some in the box. I added extra since I kept it longer than most, but if anyone needs to know the original weight it was 3 lbs. 14 oz.
Edit: Any older teas were requested by someone. If you try one and it’s meh, feel free to toss it out! Also, some of these I only had enough for a cup or two so some may have less servings than others. One last thing – some of the bags will only have the name and tea company, but I’ll be sure each Steepster page is updated with ingredients and steeping instructions (if provided by the company).

I’d like to be next it just happened that one of my few vacations a year conflicted with getting it from shae
The box will be back on its way to Kelmishka tomorrow! Thank you to whoever sorted the tea by type; that made it super helpful for me to easily put back high caffeine ones that I knew I couldn’t drink due to dietary restrictions! Took out a handful that I wanted to sample and keep and added a bunch more in. The box is stuffed full! Thanks to skysamurai for starting it; this was so much fun and I look forward to joining in future rounds!
The box arrived today! This is my first time participating and my excitement is through the roof. :D Can’t wait to dig in!
