I bought 50g to try out… boy, it was such a let down at first. I love sweet things, and this tea was far too sweet for me. But then I got experimenting…

There is a trick with this tea… I’d highly recommend steeping it in a tea bag. That way, a lot of the spices don’t escape into the cup and make it annoyingly spicy (or annoyingly sweet for that matter).

It also makes a fantastic latte. No need to add additional sweeteners.

Overall, not my fave. Certainly not a bad little tea though.

I sooo badly wanted to try this one, it sounded so good!! But when I got to the store and sniffed, my stomach heaved and said ‘nope’.

It might be a good thing… It’s cloyingly sweet. Not repurchasing. I prefer teas that I can sweeten to preference (as I’m sure most people do) :P

How the story goes is that one day, a feeble, weakened graduate student decided to stop ingesting so much caffeine and additives (sugar, cream, milk) and instead headed for the land of tea.

I should probably mention that I’ve been drinking tea… pretty much since I can remember. The beauty of growing up in a still-semi-Euro family! I was introduced to green teas and pu’erhs by herbalists and acupuncturists in my teens.
