I do really enjoy their bubble teas; they aren’t easy to find around here and Ten Ren does them the best that I’ve found in the area (which isn’t saying MUCH, but hey, it says something). People I’ve been with have said that they’re overly sweet, but I like my bubble tea really sweet, so it’s fine with me.

The rest of their teas are fairly mediocre, and their food is pretty horrid. Don’t bother eating here.

I love having Royal Tea here. It’s available by reservation only, and is far and away the best thing on the menu.

First, you’re given a choice of tea – most of what they serve are Harney and Sons teas. Then, there’s a salad and either the soup of the day or the crab bisque – get the crab bisque! After that, there’s scones with clotted cream and lemon curd. Finally, there’s a HUGE tiered tray of savories and sweets.

Whenever you finish your pot of tea, you can try something else or continue with the same tea you’ve been drinking.

The husband and I like to go and just relax; it’ll take about 2 hours to get through the entire thing. It’s awesome.

They also do lunches (no reservation required, though it is recommended) and afternoon tea. All of the food is excellent.
