21 Tasting Notes
First off, I can only compare the Jasmine Dragon Phoenix Pearls to the Dragon Pearls from Harney & Sons. I have the individually wrapped sachets from Harney & Sons, not the tin. My own observation is that the Teavana pearls seem to be much stronger than those from Harney & Sons. Personally, I like the stronger jasmine flavor, but will try to look for a cheaper alternative to the Teavana tea.
Preparation
Probably wouldn’t recommend this over some of the other Honest Tea flavors, but I get these with my meal plan card at my school and they don’t have many options. It’s alright. Personally, I’m glad it’s not ridiculously sweet, but someone who’s looking for just that would be disappointed.
There really is no hazelnut to be tasted here, which, for me, was a good thing. I can’t stand hazelnut flavored anything, which was why I was so reluctant to try this tea my mom gave me. An effort to use up the bagged tea I have, I ended up trying it anyway. After fixing it up with some vanilla almond milk and raw agave, this was quite tasty. I wound up asking my mom for some more.
