Very dark tea in color, taste is classic Yunnan but with some strong hints of Shu like notes….and the aftertaste is kind of like the aftertaste of a good cigar …its an odd little bagged tea but a good one!

Flavors: Malt, Oak, Tobacco

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 3 min, 30 sec 16 OZ / 473 ML

Not bad for a bagged tea…just something I got on a whim after seeing it in a store, smells good , medium level of bergamot , mild flavor , smooth black tea in the background with hardly no bitter notes . Good for when you feel like making something fast and easy and nothing involved.

Flavors: Bergamot

Preparation
195 °F / 90 °C 3 min, 0 sec 16 OZ / 473 ML

First Steep – This Tea is heavy in Assam , though, with most blends with assam’s the bold one . Ceylon in the background more with a winey note that I can assume is the Sikkim..its a good Breakfast Style tea .

Flavors: Malt

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 4 min, 30 sec 1 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

Second Steep – More Winey notes this time , much less Assam , less Ceylon too ..tastes more like a Darjeeling now

Ordered this after a friend showed me this company. This tea is a sweet, cherry taste with a green tea backing it up. Smell is a very strong bubblegum smell!

Flavors: Cherry

Preparation
180 °F / 82 °C 3 min, 30 sec 1 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

I tried this from a sample that a fellow member sent me …and this was the worst tea I have every had. It tasted like raw eggplant/squash mixed with ivory soap and my teaware never touchs any soap of any kind.

Preparation
185 °F / 85 °C 3 min, 0 sec 2 tsp 19 OZ / 561 ML

I’m sorry to hear you didn’t like it. Bi Luo Chun is one of my favorite green teas. I don’t think I’ve had TeaVivre’s, though.

I want to try another tasting of this to see what the issue was last time…mine is the only low score here so I think something happened to my tea ware

It could have been a contaminated sample, too.

Tried this after visiting Teavana last night at the local mall…It’s tart so be aware of that…and its heavy on the black currant and the hibby…but i can’t really taste much of the other berries. There’s a hint of raspberry in the scent…as it cools off the tartness mellows some, tho to be honest this tastes more like a tisane then tea..the white tea was just overwhelmed . I love Black Currant and don’t mind the Hib..so thats why I gave it an 85…the smell of the tea in the tin tho is a solid 100.

Preparation
180 °F / 82 °C 2 min, 0 sec 1 tsp 8 OZ / 236 ML

I love this tisane but then again I adore Black Currents..This is a good tisane if you like fruity tart flavors but once the cup cools…the hibiscus comes out in full force
