Might this be the one that turns me into an Earl Grey convert? I’ve had bad luck with earl grey, I always find the bergamot to be unpleasant and overwhelming, and I have to force myself to finish it. While the bergamot is definitely present in this tea, it’s balanced with the black tea and lavender, you can sense all of the flavors, and it’s utterly delicious. The lavender obviously smooths out the bergamot and is clearly the perfect compliment to it. I’d never thought I’d crave an earl grey tea, but I find myself looking forward to being able to make a cup of this.

I was a little nervous to try this, as I’ve had a many unpleasant cups of chamomile (drinking tea should never be a stressful experience), but it turns out I had absolutely nothing to worry about. This tea is a perfect herbal tea. (Keep in mind I’m not much of an herbal tea person, working on getting there) All the flavors are balanced, you can taste them all, but none outshines the other, and it’s just harmonious and actually tastes good. It’s obviously a high quality tea, and I can’t recommend it enough.

This is my second go-to bleary-eyed morning tea, it definitely provides the spark to bring me back from the land of sleep dead. It’s good with a bit of milk and sugar added, and as the flavor is not quite as good as my number one breakfast tea (Taylors of Harrogate Scottish Breakfast), I often steep it with some fresh minced ginger. (Plus ginger = mega health benefits)

This is my go-to tea in the morning, when I am bleary eyed and can barely get myself to the teapot, and nearly have enough coordination to get the water in the pot. Seriously, if I had to pick only one tea to drink for the rest of my life, this would be it, as it wakes me up as no other tea can. I steep it with warn milk added and a half teaspoon of raw sugar, sort of like a latte without the foam, and I find that it stands up well to long steeping times, anything under 10 and it will be okay, but probably around 7 minutes is ideal for me. I’m not so adept as describing tea flavors, but the flavor is definitely that of a good, strong black tea.
