drank TROPICAL Organic Green Tea by Tstix

Not sure about the TROPICAL part of this, it is fruity, but it’s pretty much the same “fruit” as the berry bliss – berry and tropical should not be the same taste in my world, but what do I know.
Again, not great, but not offensive either…

Sil

don’t you know…fruity is tropical is fruity is tropical…

Dexter

I think I need to get a job naming tea – I think I could do a MUCH better job….

TheTeaFairy

Lol, your notes are just fine, berry and tropical should NOT taste the same at all :-0

CelebriTEA

drank Berry Bliss by Tstix

I’m drinking these just to get them out of my cupboard, but you know they really aren’t that bad. I’ve been pleasantly surprised by the flavor of the tea that comes out of these strange little sticks.
These will never replace GOOD loose leaf tea, but in a pinch I could see how handy it might be to have a few in your purse…
Generic berry flavor in a mild black base, nothing amazing but not offensive either.

Surprised at how not offensive this is. In fact this is pretty good considering it’s really just a glorified tea bag in an interesting vessel.
I’m not sure how I feel about boiling water and plastic, but could it really be any worse than those fancy sachets that are out there?
Pleasantly surprised…

Great Canadian TTB and sipdown!! (202)

I pulled this out of the box because I was thoroughly intrigued. The Tstix is an interesting concept and so I am glad I got to try it (Thank you Dexter3657!) however flavorwise this is a pretty generic mint tea. Nothing offensive but nothing remarkable (aside from the stick brewing technique) either and for that reason it won’t be missed now that it is gone.

Dexter

I agree – interesting concept but with just average tea. I tossed a couple in just to see what other think…

VariaTEA

I wonder how their other teas are. I looked at the site and they are pretty generic flavors it seems.

Have I mentioned how much I hate being sick. My head cold has turned into nausea and upset stomach. It’s 10:00 PM and I haven’t had any tea yet today. Went digging though my stash looking for something herbal, wellness, lemon – and have decided that I don’t have much along those lines. OK I don’t usually do well with lemon teas so that would be the reason, but think I should get a couple for days like today.
I’m the tea freak at work. I always have tea at work, but I normally drink straight black or oolong while I’m at work. I’ve started taking fun flavors in on Fridays and just leaving them in the coffee room. A few people have started to notice and bring tea balls to try what I leave lying around. One of those people brought me a mixed flavored sample package of these Tstix. Really sweet and a nice gesture – I don’t think they understand how much tea I really have.
This goes against almost everything I believe/know about steeping tea. I really don’t respect any company that tells me to pour boiling water over green tea. The instructions on EVERY package is the same – put stick in cup, pour boiling water, stir to infuse to taste. Can’t be more vague than that.
I actually thought this was going to be a lemon tisane, it’s a rooibos – oh well. How bad can it be?
It’s citrus, it’s medicinal rooibos, it’s a bit creamy, it’s not at all what I was looking for tonight. This is not making me happy. It did infuse pretty well. I only stirred it for a couple of minutes, and I think I got quite a bit of flavor. I can see people liking the convenience of them. They aren’t soggy and don’t really drip the way tea bags do.

Ah, boo. Feel better soon!

Sil
