The Tea Emporium

The flavor is light and delicate. Making it prefect to drink multiple cups during the day (yay re-steeping!)
Also works well as an iced tea, but I prefer it hot.

drank Black Currant by The Tea Emporium

This has a very strong flavor. If you’re unsure you like black currants, I highly recommend that you smell this tea in the store.
I usually “brew” it as iced tea. The fruity flavor comes out much better that way (IMO).

Spoilt myself for my birthday! The taste wasn’t as strong as the smell, which was too bad. Very mild.

To be perfectly honest, I do not know that The Tea Emporium was the true distributor of the Orchid Oolong that I tasted because I got this tea on the run at a local tea shop. Nevertheless, this is hands down the worst tea I have ever tasted. It had such a strong flavor of wheatgrass that it was barely palatable for me. I am sure, however, that my displeasure with the tea is not related to the quality, steeping time, or other brewing procedures. I just didn’t personally care for the flavor. Even with the addition of sweetener it was just plain nasty.

Very delicious. Just how oolong should be.

I have to be very careful if I’m eating something with this, so the food doesn’t overwhelm the flavour of the tea.

Probably my favourite tea ever. This was the tea that prompted me to buy a Brita filter and a thermometer, so I could properly re-steep this tea several times at the right temperature. So worth it!

I wanted this for a morning tea, which I like to drink with milk, but didn’t find it strong enough. Still, nice enough.

Really sweet fruit tea – doesn’t need sweetening. Makes a nice ice tea, really sweet.

I was craving a fruity green tea and had never tried Tea Emporium. This one sounded interesting with the addition of ginkgo. The package said “makes an unbelievable iced tea” so I doubled the leaves and iced it after adding a little stevia. I noticed an aroma of sweet cherries and it was natural and fresh. The flavor was light, fruit sweet, and refreshing. Cherry is the dominant flavor, but there are hints of papaya which mellows everything out. It’s the perfect flavored green tea for spring and summer and it lives up to the claim—“unbelievable iced tea”. Next time I might try leaving out the stevia just to see how it tastes without sweetener. I will be making pitchers of this all summer!
