While the flavor of this blend is bold and daring, the holiday spirit kicks you in the face with a bit to much cinnamon. First tried in a latte form, which was great for the chilly evening stroll I was on, but became overwhelming after half a cup. Second tried straight. Still to much cinnamon. Sorry guys, maybe next year. :-/

Yes! This tea was absolutely amazing. Careful not to over steep as this tea can very easily taste bitter. If you love vanilla (I do), you have to try this. Add milk! The perfect evening tea to read with, and so far my favorite black tea at Coffee Bean.

Classic breakfast tea… however I had this at night, which ruined my stomach and ability to sleep. Other than that with a “spot of milk” this tea was truly a delight. Good staple, probably really fun to experiment with in blends. Just a thought.

Eh. Sure the cherry blossom aroma is cool, but this tea just didn’t give the enjoyable taste I was hoping for. Adding sugar helped, but naturally this tea is just “meh”. If you like cherry I’d say go for it, but if you’re just looking for a good flavored green look elsewhere.

The product description says “traditional” and that’s exactly what you get with this tea. The coloring, if steeped correctly, is a perfect lime green. The aroma and taste have a dynamic grassy taste to it that further instills the classic nature of this tea. If you’re looking for flavor or anything full of flavor look elsewhere this Lung Ching is subtle and classy. Light body. Great for studying.

Let’s face it… I’m a sucker for Jasmine (and I don’t mean the Disney Princess)! This tea while easily over steeped is one of my staples for when I’m out and about and looking for a good loose leaf to grab. With the fantastic aromas of the jasmine flower this green tea nails it when it comes to subtly. This tea is simple. Leave it that way!

My first experience in the Darjeeling family… very intriguing. By far one of the boldest blacks I’ve tasted; I really enjoyed the full body taste this tea offered while being totally complimented by what I guess would be described as the pleasant aroma of a Darjeeling. Would love to try more from this family of tea.

Hehe, if you want to really get into this tea type you have no idea what you’re in for. There are three main flushes of Darjeeling tea, each with their own distinctive characters. Plus the flavour can also vary surprisingly widely from estate to estate. People can get really crazy over this tea type – not to scare you off or anything! ;D

If I am going to get tea on the go and I don’t have my travel mug, I come to these guys. Really decent tea for a cafe chain, and a decent price too. I don’t normally get herbal infusions, especially when going to work, but something made me want to try this tea. All I have to say: AMAZING! The mint is so refreshing and strong. Naturally sweet. This one didn’t last long at all.

And if you want caffeine, I think this’d be good mixed w/ any true tea. I love both on their own, but ginseng and peppermint isn’t a combo I’ve tried before.

Katie Alberry

You should give it a try when you’re in there next. I was really pleasantly surprised by the combination. And I’m not much of a mint tea drinker either.

Cofftea

Can’t. No CBTL anywhere near me. But maybe I will mix some peppermint w/ my Adagio ginseng green:)

Katie Alberry

Too bad, but that sounds like a great solution to me. Enjoy!

Brilliant; the first time I knowingly drank a darjeeling, and I must say I was a huge fan.. Would love to try different ones!

This is a nice relaxing hot tea. The small particles from the chamomile can sometimes be left into the tea after infusing but that happens. I would not recommend this tea cold. It is not horrible cold, the favor is just not impressive cold.

Soooo good. I seriously love this tea. A light feel yet strong flavor of honeydew. My first oolong experience and it was fantastic.

Not sure what happened, but a little orange peel or blossom in a nice oolong…it just makes my day!

This is my favorite brand of Moroccan Mint. The amount of peppermint is perfect!

this tea never gets old. They stopped selling it but I was lucky enough to find a store that had some and they sold me it from their stash. Sad to see it go :(

my current favorite.

I’m a big fan of orange blossoms and the fact that this tea is made with them shoots it to the top of my list. Very tasty.

I steap this tea frequently before lunch, as is the case this date. It’s very light and doesn’t leave any residual coating on my teeth or tongue or otherwise. I find the “power curve” from the stimulants to be exceptionally subtle.

Somehow, not as good as the first cup of this I’ve ever had. Kind of disappointed about that, but it was still okay.
