This was the first tea I bought from The Berry Tea Shop. I’ve taken such a liking to it because of how refreshing it tastes. I think is due to the combined black, green and peppermint flavours. I think mixed blends run the risk of tasting like rubbish because there are too many flavours but I think it is well balanced and I’ve already gone through half my tin. I normally drink it hot while I’m reading or studying. The tea however can taste bitter if you steep it for too long long in a smaller cup. Would definitely restock.

Threw the last of this into a cold steep overnight because it was so nice the last time. A little green bitterness coming through but it was a long steep and a heavy amount of tea!

As much as I’ve enjoyed it, I probably won’t restock it because of the green—and there are plenty of other flavoured blacks out there along a similar line to this one.

This one was from the Mr. Earl June 2014 box, btw. As much as I’ve enjoyed the luxury of getting two tea subscriptions each month, I’m letting this one go for a little while—after three months I’m more impressed with the monthly range from Monstrositea so we’ll see how long I can go with just one subscription….

Love this cold steeped! Left it overnight and it wasn’t bitter, so the green is mild enough to tolerate a long steep. Beautiful.
