This steeper is awesome. I have the 32oz one, and I absolutely love it. It works like a charm and I’ve never had a problem with it.
The filter in the bottom is awesome for all tea leaves, including the small rooibos leaves. I’m hoping to get the small one soon to replace the one I have from a different company.

I use this stainless steel strainer for brewing rooibos, and the holes are small enough that it keeps almost all of the little rooibos twigs inside. The holes in the glass strainer made by Trendglas let more of the rooibos through. This strainer is very convenient. It fits in the Trendglas Zyclo mug that I have, but also fits nicely in a beaker mug that was made by a different company. It is sturdy and well made, and smooth to touch. The one downside is that it gets hot because it is metal, so I have to wear gloves to pick it up while it is hot, whereas the glass strainer I can often handle with my bare hands. But the small hole size more than makes up for it, in my opinion.

I bought this from Norbu after a month at looking at every gaiwan possible. It’s everything I wanted in a gaiwan. Light weight, glass, and around 4 oz. It’s actually 5.07 oz. It came with a sample of their oolong tea, which was an extra perk. I use it weekly. It was shipped fast, too! Plus, it was the best price, including shipping! I just hope I never drop it! :)

Pot of Many Uses! This is a unique design, and really does pour well, even one-handed! The glass is sturdy and the shape is pleasing to the eyes. Makes great tea in the roomy infuser, and works well for a bloom of flowering tea (without infuser). It’s large enough for a blooming tea to expand fully, while being small enough (and the right shape) for good viewing of the display. Without the infuser, the lid fits rather loosely, but it does its job and stays on when I pour with my thumb over its stem. A cork trivet comes with the purchase … nice for protecting surfaces and the underside of the glass pot. And one more thing … without the lid and infuser the pot becomes a giant “fair cup” for large-group gongfu adventures, when I want to mix more than one steeping together before pouring. I think I’m going to get a lot of use from this sweet little pot!

It was a very nice first “EZ” tea maker
I could set it as
loose / teabag
strong/medium/mild
white/green/black/herbal

so little fussing needed just set the settings and when it’s done it pours the tea into the teapot

downside – tea gets cold fast, you can’t see exact parameters

It’s great for work, a nice fine mesh catches most little particles

you can rest the strainer on the lid when you are done steeping
