I got a single tea bag of this somewhere, I dunno where… but whatever. After tiring and kind of awful work today — picking up drums about 40 kilos (88 lbs) each and removing their content into big cardboard box — in the very hot warehouse wasn’t a pleasure.

So, when I came home from work, I took the most refreshing tea I found during my short search and found this one.

Excuse me, but where is the Yuzu? Where is actually any citrus in this? Where is matcha?
It was plain, but at least grassy, green tea which wasn’t bitter. But it didn’t had any expected and promised flavours nor aromas.

It is a pleasant chai tea with a caffeine kick. I steeped it for 3 minutes and though I couldn’t taste the coffee beans, a feeling similar to coffee was felt. It was a bit too strong for me, I thought it would be just the taste of coffee for the most part. However, I would recommend this tea or someone avoiding coffee in the morning for the needed boost.

I can’t believe that the overall score for this tea (67 at the time of this review) is so low.
This tea was a gift to me (along with a couple of others) from a regular customer where I work.
I’ve had “chocolate” teas in the past and have felt mostly disappointed with the flavour. However, with this one, it was love at first sip. The chocolate flavour is front and centre and actually tastes like delicious sweet chocolate. The chai flavour isn’t very chai. It’s super light but there is a delicate whisper of it in the background, if your tastebuds really search for it. Overall, I am happy with this. First and foremost, this is a very chocolate-centric tea with the slightest hint of chai. Not spicy at all but instead, smooth, light and chocolatey. I thoroughly enjoyed my mug!

This one smells very minty, like Junior Mints candy. The mintiness is also present in the tea which bears some similarity to DavidsTea Cold 911 except there is an unpleasant herbaceous-medicinal taste which I suspect is due to the chamomile in the blend.

I was intrigued by the list of ingredients which includes chamomile, lemongrass, rose, lemon peel, blackberry, and different varieties of mint. However none of them are discernible in the cup as the mint overpowers everything .

I bought this Tea thinking it was going to be like Masala chai but its not all I imagine its got very little black tea and the spices used are on the cheap side of things black pepper and cloves over power the tea which is like a weak lady gray type and you can really smell it and taste it.

This is a herbal tea and for old ladies that like to drink tea because its healthy not because its tasty and this is not like normal spiced indian tea at all .

Oh. Oh no.

So, I saw this while grocery shopping and my exact train of thought was “Huh, that’s a weird combination. I bet it’s weirdly good or just awful. Guess I have to see which, now.” and, uh, well it’s the latter. I think this is easily the worst kombucha that I have ever had and maybe one of the worst teas I’ve ever had in general. Certainly of this year.

Y’know that giant multi litre vat of dollar store white vinegar that everyone’s mom seems to have under the sink for, like, cleaning!? Like the kind of vinegar that is technically edible but is so god awful that it’s exclusively used to scrub counters. The kind of vinegar that actually burns when you drink it!? So, this tasted exactly like you mixed that with the gnarliest, most bitter and overroasted gas station coffee. It hurt to drink and my first instinct was immediately to spit it out.

I did not finish this.

Ugh! These very low-rated teas are no doubt terrible to drink, but fun to read about. :P

I had a terrible cold in the Fall and friends of mine dropped off a “get well” basket for me which was very kind of them. This tea was in the said basket. I’ve never been a huge fan of ginger in tea but I have to say, this tea is really well done! I drank it when I was sick and it was quite soothing and comforting. The flavour is right where it should be. Lots of zing from the ginger and it’s definitely at the forefront with the lemon happily bringing up the rear. It’s the kind of tea that puts a smile on your face. President’s Choice did a great job with this one!

This is pretty good-an average cup of peppermint tea at a reasonable price.

I found a new love of mine in latte form. This tastes like chai tea mixed with coffee. This tea is drool worthy.

This tea certainly does the job in calming your nerves, but the flavour can get a bit overwhelming. If you leave the bag in for too long, it gets overly sweet which doesn’t happen with other blends of chamomile I’ve tried. Also I’m not sure why but sometimes it tastes quite sour even if the bag hasn’t been in the cup for very long. I really like the packaging, the name, and the intention behind crafting this tea, but it’s not something I would purchase again or recommend or make for anyone.

I’m not sure how similar this is to PC’s Mulled Apple tea – doing a comparison on the ingredients, there’s a lot in common, but the ingredients are in a slightly different order. At any rate, this tea has a STRONG smell – very cinnamony and spicy. It’s a pleasant smell, though. The taste is lovely and warm, and milder than the scent would suggest, with quite a bit of the cinnamon and apple that’s high on the ingredient list. A very yummy tea.

This did not taste anything like chai, it basically tastes like liquorice! Definitely skip this one and buy another brand.
