I didn’t have high hopes for this one, since it is rooibos. And I don’t know if my taste buds are becoming more accepting of rooibos or if it’s because it’s iced – but this is actually tasty. Not my favorite, but, certainly drinkable and refreshing.

It is nutty, woody, and sweet. It tastes like rooibos.

Backlog: With dinner, I finished up the last of the pitcher that I had made of this a couple of nights ago. Makes a decent glass of iced tea, refreshing and brisk. No bitterness, just a pleasant sweet taste. Nice.

Backlogging: I brewed some of this last night to chill in the fridge, and I enjoyed a glass with dinner. It is a decent tasting iced tea – perhaps a bit better than the “fresh brewed” teas that one might expect to receive at most fast food restaurants (and even many fine dining restaurants), certainly better than Lipton’s. Personally, though, I think I’d rather brew some loose leaf and chill it. For convenience sake, though, this is good. I also think it would work rather nicely for sun tea, which is something I will be trying when the sun comes out (if it ever does).

I made 2 quarts of this last night per the directions…which means I added 1/3 C of sugar as suggested. I had a glass with dinner tonight! WOW! It’s was sweet! VERY Sweet! It reminded me of a bottle of sweetened iced tea that you would buy at the store.

This was tasty but very sweet and now that I have a pitcher made I might try some additions.

This with sugar – iced – pretty good!
