I thought this Earl Grey was too overpowering and bitter.

I love it, it’s got a smooth taste.

This was my first introduction to Pu-erh teas and has become one of my favourites. I love the fact that you can’t oversteep this. I once left this tea accidentally for 20 minutes and it still tasted great!

uuugg. My first introduction to Lapsang Souchong. I remember the smoky smell lingering throughout the house. The powerful smell took over the entire experience and I couldn’t make out any sweet or mild taste.

A lovely stronger oolong tea.

I just don’t like smoky pine tasting teas; even though this is mellower that Lapsang Souchong, it still just isn’t my cup of tea.

drank Genmai Cha by Peet's Coffee & Tea

This is a quite serviceable genmaicha; however, it’s the same price as Peet’s sencha, so I prefer the latter.

Wonderfully interesting flavor.. The smoked taste really comes on strong while sipping, but I more enjoy the aftertaste, which to me is quite a smooth hint of flavor; good blend

It’s a solid tea, but the Bergamot seems to have difficulty making an appearance in flavor.. Not the best of Earl Greys I’ve had

A little more flavorful than the Golden Dragon Tea, which made it all the better

Highly recommended

nothin’ fancy, just a quick cup in the morning at work when too busy to clean more than a cup.

O.M.G. This is like liquid heaven. I like this tea like I like my men: strong and hot. Maybe brew it with Smart Water—I like my men intelligent. Okay, back on topic. Take this with cream and brown sugar. I’m not a coffee drinker in the mornings—but when I need a strong jolt of caffeine, I’ll head over to Peet’s for a cup of Assam Golden Tip. Sometimes I’ll mix Assam Golden Tip with their Peppermint blend for a nice minty kick.

Oh – I never thought to use brown sugar – I bet that would be great!

It’s like liquid cereal. :) I love the nuttiness of Genmai Cha, and Peet’s does it well, with plenty of flavour.

4/23: Prepped in a Ceramic Infuser Cup. It was good, but I think I’m better off using a gaiwan or a teapot and controlling the water temperature better.

No it’s not the OS (a Mac joke). A very sweet and flavorful tea. Light and refreshing on the palate. Dispels the myth, that you can’t drink tea on a hot day( it was 85 today). Prepped in glass gaiwan, I like to watch the leaves “dance” as the open up. Kept water at 170 degrees, 2 teaspoons , 6 oz gaiwan yielded 4 steepings.

5th and 6th infusions from tea I started with yesterday. Still has nice amber liquor, the sweetness is more subtle.

Prepared in a medium sized yixing pot, enough for 1 full cup. Tea has floral scent prior to brewing, which gives way to aromas of fruits. Amber liquor leaves a sweet taste in the back of the throat.

Prepared tea in a small glass pot. Black and gold leaves intertwined in a tight spiral, open up and produce a dark liquior with a spicy/sweet taste. Steamed 1 cup of Vanilla Soy Milk. Poured the tea into the milk and added honey. Goodness!
