This is fin-NOM-i-nal!

The aroma is INTENSE and I love that about this offering! A party for the senses!

The ingredients are plump and visually-FUN!

The taste is awesome! The Assam and Ceylon is D-Lish! The Orange Peel and Blueberries are my FAVE! Citrus and Berry yet EG flavors thrown in and jammin’ well together!

I did three infusions with this.

The 2nd infusion was a tad more orange than berry with the EG still present. The 3rd infusion there was more blueberry but the berry was more soothing and mellow than before. The Citrus and EG flavors fell in the background and were subtle but a nice addition to the Blueberry!

I really like this one! A nice flavored EG! AND…the only BLUEBERRY Flavored EG in the Steepster Database to date!!! Woot!

I blended this tea when Ovation tea offered some of us a chance to blend our own with their ‘create your own’ blend tool for free.
http://www.ovationteas.com/custom-tea-blend/create-your-own-tea-blend.html

I actually ordered the honeybush but was accidentally sent the black tea. They are super nice and are going to send me a corrected batch. So, look for another review of this same blend but made with honeybush soon.

This tea is sooo good. It smells great in the bag and brews up just as nice and tasty. The black tea seems to be of a high quality with little astringency. I was working and didn’t even pay attention to how many minutes I steeped it and it still came out great. The predominant flavors in this are brown sugar and cinnamon with a touch of apple flavor. The apple doesn’t overwhelm it like a lot of apple flavored teas. It really does taste like an apple pie. Last winter I was trying really hard to lose weight and all I wanted was apple pie. I could never find a tea to fill that craving and I would have killed for this one. I love it. Can you tell? I did good, if I do say so myself. :)

I’m curious which apple teas you’ve tried that came out too appley (I have the opposite problem…I want a good cider style apple tea, but I end up with ones with a hint of apple and loads of cinnamon or other artificial taste). Glad this worked out for you though, sounds delish!!

Kristin

This one was definitely not cider-like. :) Pie. :)
I’ll have to look though my list to see which apple ones I liked and didn’t.

Uniquity

I’m okay with pie too, luckily. : ) Really just anything with good and authentic apple taste. : )

I would love to know what you did for this blend! It sounds lovely!

MISS YOU!!!!

Sorry. I’ll be back soon. It was so hot this summer and had no AC. Then I was travelling for work, and then I moved this last weekend. So… I’ll be back any day now. I ordered that maple cheesecake oolong from 52 teas which will hopefully be here today.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this tea. I normally don’t like Earl Greys (partially because they smell like the natural soaps I use). So with the addition of lavender, this tea smelled even more like soap to me. But, this is actually a nice mild Earl Grey. The bergamot is not overdone and the lavender just kind of smooths everything out. This is probably the only Earl Grey that I might actually consider buying (got this one from Mel, thanks again!). Prepared with stevia.

Very likable Earl Grey. I haven’t had Earl Grey in years or a tea with lavender for a very long time either. This tea has a Lipton like brisk blend of the black tea, though better. None of the flavors are overpowering. I had it iced, and it was great. Before you sip it, you can inhale the orange flavor.
